Wren's POV

Once Wren got to her fifth period, she realized not only did she have creative writing with Robin, but also culinary class, who she also had with Steve as well.

"Wow Harrington, I didn't know you were learning to cook for the kids." Robin jokes as they sit down at one of the four person tables that was in the room.

"Hell no, you know that the ladies love a man that can cook though." Steve replies winking back Robin and Wren's way, as both Buckley girls roll their eyes. As much as they loved to tease Steve, they were both glad that they all had a class together, especially one that they could eat in. Surprisingly there were still very little students in the class, but it was likely because you needed to have had the life skills course in the previous year, along with it being a seniors only class because of "safety reasons," aka in case a freshman burned themselves on an oven.

"Welcome everyone, I'm Ms. Mallory and I'll be your teacher for Culinary 102." The teacher says as she gets to the front of the room. She had short hair with bangs and looked a bit like a 'young mom' type, but overall seemed cool. Sadly though, a few of the other students didn't seem to think this though, since two of the girls, one of them being Chrissie from her second class, and a linebacker looking guy, continued to talk amongst themselves. The teacher stared at them until they noticed and quieted down a bit to pay attention.

Cough, cough "Now as I was saying, considering you've all taken the life skills class, I'd like to think that you know the basics of nutrition, and of the basic food groups, so we'll be starting off by making some easy foods and working out way up to higher cuisines." The teacher stated as she passed out a reminder of the things Wren had already learned at her previous school in her life skills course, as the teacher continued.

"Since cooking takes time and patience, I'll let you all make groups of three to four students each, which will be your cooking lab partners for the rest of the year. Once you've gotten your groups come up to the front and sign off on who will be in your group." Once she got done saying the rules, and eventually let the students talk, Wren, Robin, and Steve all looked at each other with mischievous grins. They each made sure to double check that there was no one out of a group in case they needed a fourth member, but it looked like a group of two was already inviting the only two other students who were sitting alone, leaving the trio remaining at three.

"Guess I'll go write the names down then." Steve said, amused, as he goes up front.

"So... a little 'dusty bun' may have passed me in the hall and mentioned that you're hanging out with Munson." Robin asks a bit teasingly.

"First, Harrington and now you Robin? Geez what is up with everyone today." Wren jokingly pouts.

"It's just interesting, that's all, I mean it's just we know the guy has a reputation around here and considering you wanted to fly low this year with the human contact you're sort of doing the opposite." Robin says back, as Steve sits back down, hearing the tail end of the sentence.

"She's not wrong." Steve says back, brushing his hand through the hair for probably the fiftieth time that day.

"Shush, both of you, and besides if I can be friends with 'The Hair', and not get a lot of attention, I'm sure I can be friends with Munson too." Wren swifty responds, being truthful. Steve and Robin both shrug since they both knew the answer she gave seemed valid enough.

The class quieted down as the teacher went over what she considered 'easy foods', such as side items like mac and cheese, soups, and casseroles. After that, the groups got to decide on what they would cook for the coming week. Wren's group decided on cheddar biscuits, which Robin had decided right after the teacher had let them talk.

Eventually the bell rang, and the trio waved at each other, agreeing to see each other at Steve's car, as they made their way to their last, and sixth class of the day. Wren's last class was American history, which wasn't too far away.

As she got closer, she saw a familiar head of black hair walking a bit in front of her. She walked a little quicker and poked the guy's shoulder for him to turn around, at first with a frown, which quickly turned into a grin.

"Well, what do we have here? You aren't stalking me, are you Buckley?" Eddie winks as they both start walking again towards their classes together.

"In your dreams Munson." Wren teases as they both go down the same hallway. As they keep talking, she realizes they have both ended up in front of her class.

"Hey, shouldn't you be going to wherever your class is soon too?" She wondered out loud, looking back up at him.

He gestured to the class on the left, right next to hers, which appeared to have a decent number of computers in it. "Well as lucky may have it I am at my class." Eddie responded with a little bit of a shrug. As he says this, Wren sees Robin jogging up to them.

"Hey, I thought you were going to your next class?" Wren wonders out loud, looking from Eddie to Robin in surprise.

"I am," Robin catches her breath as she continues, "but I realized they moved the computer lab from where it was last year, so I had to jog to make it before the bell." Robin then notices who Wren had been talking to, giving off an evil grin. She puts out her hand to shake, as Eddie shakes it back, a bit amused.

"I'm Robin, Wren's cousin, I know we haven't officially yet, but I've heard plenty from Henderson and bird brain over here." Robin tells him, gesturing towards Wren, who smacks her on the back of the head.

"And what may that be I wonder?" Eddie says, trying to get a reaction out of Wren as well. Wren just rolls her eyes as she catches the numbers on the clock placed in the hallway.

"Whatever you two, I'm going to class since it's basically time to start anyways. I'll see you later though." She waved back towards the two, although, a little more towards Eddie, since she could always just see Robin at home. Robin gave back a big wave, Eddie giving back a small salute of sorts, all three of them going towards their respective classes.
