i wake up and check the time
8:38 am
holy shit i'm late
i get up and run to my closet and get an outfit
and run to go brush my hair and teeth

i run into my room and grab my backpack and literally run to school
i run through the gate and
run to 1st period

everyone is starring at me as i stop and catch my breath in the doorway

" i-im sorry " " i- i didn't set an- alarm " i say still trying to catch my breath
" oh dear ! it's okay your only 18 minutes late " " take a seat next to your partner " she says smiling

i walk over to robin and sit next to him

" did you forget to set your alarm ? " he says slightly laughing
" finney was my alarm " i say putting my head down on my desk
" leah we're gonna find him i- " i cut him off
" what you know it ? " i say lifting my head up and looking at him

" everyone eyes up here " our teacher says
" this class is so boring " i whisper to robin
" look im gonna ask to go to the bathroom and then like 2 minutes after i do you ask okay ? " i whisper to him
" yeah sure why not " he says looking at the chalkboard

i raise my hand
" yes ms blake ? " my teacher says
" can i go to the restroom please ? " i ask her
" yes sweetie " " don't be too long " she says smiling at me and then looking at the chalkboard again
" i stand up and wink at robin while mouthing ' boys bathroom '
i walk to the boys bathroom
and wait in a stall
after what seems like forever i hear someone walk in

i walk out of the stall expecting to see robin but i see finneys 3 bullies
since when we're there three of them

" wrong bathroom leah ? " matty says laughing
" no i don't think so " " she does look like a boy " buzz says laughing
" fuck you guys " i say
" i'll kick your asses again " i say walking to them
" sure just like we kicked your brothers ? " " sucks we can't anymore since he's dead " matt says laughing

i try and swing at matty but buzz punches me in the face
i grab my mouth
" fuck you asshole " i say swinging at buzz
but he catches it and punches me in the stomach

how am i losing to these dipshits
i fall to the ground and matt pushed away the two boys and kicks my in my face
and then signals for the two boys to come back
and they start kicking me again

i think i hear the door open
i dont really know
i feel like dying right now

they stop kicking me and all i hear is
robin yelling at them and one by one them falling to the ground and one of them falling on the sink

they all get up and run out
i hear the 4th period bell ring which means we have lunch right now

robin runs up to me and try's to pull me up
but i just slide down on the wall so i'm sitting down
now
" let me see your fa- " i cut off robin by smacking his hand away from my face
" where were you ! " i say with my voice breaking
i'm crying
" leah im sorry she- " i cut him off again by trying to stand up but i just fall on the sink
" no robin ! t-they- " " this is your fault "
i say crying even more now

" you- your fault " i say while falling into his arms

we slide down on the wall
" leah calm down its okay " " i'm sorry i didn't come in time " he says while holding me
" he's not dead " i say while looking at our shoes
" who ? " robin asks
" finney and.. and bruce " " right ? " i say turning around so i'm facing robin
" leah finney isn't dead but bruce- " " we-... no he's not dead " he says looking down
robin stands up and grabs my hand and puts his arm around my waist to help me stand up
