Being a new Inhuman sucks, especially when you can hear everyone's thoughts. You need a way to turn it all off, until Natasha offers something up.

It's been years since you've been chosen to become an Avenger. You were just like Clint and Natasha, assassins and spies. Clint was the one who requested you were brought on to the team. When you got the news everything went out the window and you couldn't be more ecstatic to be an Avenger.

Thinking back on it, you wish you told yourself to just to pack your things and move to the compound. Of course they're the Avengers, you would have to deal with all the idiots who think they are better and wiser than them. So here you are, fighting a group of those people that have Inhuman powers, all you had were guns and knives.

"Alright, who can give me whatever you're selling on the black market?" You cease fire and stand up until there's a fireball coming for your face. Well shit. You dropped to the ground and groaned when they still tried to attack you. Well here goes nothing. A couple scientists from SHIELD had created a device that was able to knock out anyone in the room that was still standing. Somehow, without getting hit, you made it to the middle of the room and let the device do its job as everyone standing fell to the ground. (AoS people know what this is.)

When you stood up everyone was knocked out on the ground. "Thanks Fitz." You tossed the empty shell on the floor just as someone came up from behind you to shove you against a shelf that was full of blue crystals. Weird. You grabbed one and used it to hit the person in the head, knocking them out too. Now you stood in a room full of unconscious people.

"Prefect." You took a deep breath and looked satisfied with the job. "Alright, they're all taken care of. You guys can come down here and take the stuff. I think they're all crystals." You said into the coms and took a moment to look around the room you were in. When you did though you noticed your hand was covered in something. Shit. Shit. Shit. You got a response from the team as they were headed to your location to wrap things up. But before the stuff crawling all over your skin could cover your mouth you let them know one more thing.

"DON'T TOUCH THE CRYSTALS!" You stopped moving and everything was dark and quiet.

:::

"What do you think it is?"

"I don't even know. I've never seen anything like this."

"It looks like a husk, or a cocoon."

"Is she going to be ok?"

"Can she hear us?"

"Can she feel this?"

"I don't know. I don't know. And... I don't know."

"We don't know what it is, we've been trying to figure that out for the last two hours, and nothing."

The room went silent as you felt like you could move your limbs again. It was like something traveling up your arms that was breaking away at something. You could move your fingers, then hands, then arms and then everything just fell off of you. You fell to the ground from not using your legs for however long it's been, two hours. Right? Your breathing was erratic and different, but you could hear people talking and talking. So many voices just stayed looking at the cold floor, trying to figure out who was talking.

"Could you all stop talking, please. It's hurting my head." You slowly sat up and grabbed the side of your head as you watched none of their lips move, but so many words were being said.

"No one was talking." Nat said next to you as she kneeled on the ground with you.

"But I can hear things, it's so loud. It hurts." This time you covered your ears to see if that would help, but it didn't. "Who are you three?" You said looking from the woman in a tactical suit with gauntlets to the man and other woman working with Bruce.
