Kash threatened as Camille moved a hand over her mouth and nose trying to keep her breathing as quiet as she could while hiding by the desk,
"I'm the luckiest guy alive. Another human. Finally, I'm saved!" Darius suddenly cried out with joy, moving forwards to hug Kash,
"Okay, easy. Just back it up, kid, and answer my questions," Kash pried Darius off himself before pointing in the boy's face, "Who are you and how did you get on my island?"
Darius gave a soft sigh, "My name is Darius Bowman. My boat was destroyed, and I washed up here. I...I came from Isla Nublar-" Darius stuttered while giving the desk a side eye, Kash's demeanour changed looking at the boy with wide eyes,
"Nice try." Kash raised his brows with folded arms, "Jurassic World tanked six months ago..." Kash said which shocked Darius quite a bit as Camille refrained from letting out a gasp.
Sure they lost time of how long it had been but surely it hadn't been really that long,
"No way. Are...Has it really been that long?" Darius exhaled before it went silent, "My dad and I were on vacation when that Indominus thing escaped. We hid in these caves for a while, so we missed the evacuation..." He said gloomily before looking up at Kash again,
"After that, we had to fight for our lives every day. My dad, he...He didn't make it. I've been on my own ever since..." Kash raised his eyebrows at Darius,
"You expect me to believe that...some kid already washed up here and tried that sick joke-" Kash began, clearly thinking back to when he found Camille on the island as his face grimaced,
"Doesn't make sense.." He plainly said, Darius, growing defensive, "It's the truth. Look, man, if you let me call someone, anyone, I'm more than happy to get out of your way and get the heck home!" Darius exclaimed while gesturing towards the phone in Kash's hand but Kash narrowed his eyes at the boy,
"No can do. You've seen too much. So, you're stuck here. Till I decide what to do with you..." Kash leaned towards Darius, Camille squeezing her eyes shut before letting out a slow breath. Guess their stuck here a lot longer now.
