Every song written, every poem
Has done nothing, but prove me wrong
I should've saved a little for myself
Now my chance sits alone, on a dusty shelf

Like all the other failures, in my life
I have to move forward,
And take long strides
In a direction, on my own
It really sucks to be alone

Me and my four walls, I can find
A sense of freedom, no sense of time
The clock stopped, the day you left me
I guess all I really need are new batteries

To recharge my life, I know I can
I maybe broken, but I'm just a woman
Who did her best, but was not given a glance
To see she was sincere,
Maybe this time
Just once...
