//Author's note: yes I'm writing a fic that contains spanish when I'm only starting to learn Spanish from duo lingo stfu//

It's been a few weeks since the hexsquad had been living with luz's mom, camilla Noceda, at a small town in Connecticut

Everyday Luz would show them around the human realm, Camilla of course had 4 ground rules

"Number 1, is to try and pitch in help whenever you can, I love that I get to help all of you, but I wouldn't mind it if you'd help me as well

Number 2. If you ever want to go out with friends always keep me posted or leave a note on the fridge including the time you'll be getting home

Number 3, NEVER go out without a partner

Number 4,...have fun cariños, as long as you're under my care you are always allowed to talk to me if you have questions about our realm, let's treat each other like familia"

"Familia means family" Luz whispers to her friends that looked confused

"Ohhhhhh" they all said in unison

They were always curious with the kind of languages humans speak,

willow tries to learn but easily gets confused with words that sounds similar,

amity only knows a few words after being around Luz all the time,

Gus knows how to pronounce words but he doesn't always know what they mean.

Although the squad was curious they never felt 100% compelled to learn this language since the noceda's usually had to speak English in Connecticut

But hunter was the most curious about this topic, heck even vee could speak Spanish after spending time with the nocedas

when he asked Mrs. Noceda (who told him to call her Camilla) if there was a way to learn this language, she looked very enthusiastic to teach him

"Come this way cariño" she says leading him to luz's shared bedroom and sat him down in front of a weird metal box called a "computer"

Hunter was pretty weirded out by this box but he was getting a little less nervous when he started learning about it and the internet,

He started to learn about the noceda's language and realized that the language is called "Spanish"

After a few weeks of non stop everyday learning he was able to become pretty fluent

He sometimes would shout Spanish words when he was scolding gus or Luz from accidentally running off away from the group

He even said Spanish words when calling the squad down for dinner

Camilla was amazed that it only took hunter at least 3-5 weeks of learning to become pretty fluent in Spanish

Which was no problem for hunter, I mean, he IS a fast learner, especially after reading so many books and having his own bookshelf back in the boiling isles

"Hm...the boiling isles" hunter mutters

Although he never really found a place there, it was still the place he grew up in, where he's from, the place he took for granted.

After some thinking he realizes something and goes onto the interweb for anything that could help him and his friends get back home

"AHA!" he says out loud and bolts out the door

Still on top of the stairs he screams down into the living room where his friends were hanging out

"GUYSGUYSGUYSGUYSGUYS AQUÍ ARRIBA TENGO NOVEDADES"
