01 | ALEXITHYMIA: Beginning

June 23, 2005 (23:00) - Jeju, South Korea

On a cold winter night, there are loud shouts coming from the mansion but no one seems to hear it as it's far from the other houses in the small village. The old man in his 80's is crawling to the floor after his knee was stabbed a while ago

"Help! Help me please!" He screamed in fear

Two girls are behind him watching him try to get away and trying to approach the front door. The older girl picks up the knife on the floor

While the ten-year old girl is shaking in fear after witnessing the older girl stab the innocent old man

"If you weren't such a scaredy cat then this old geezer would've been dead by now" the older girl side, the younger girl didn't gave a response

"Watch and learn, kid" The older girl said and goes to him

The old man was still crawling when he felt someone tightly grab his hair, it was the older girl. She crouch down to his level

"I'm begging you, please.. don't kill me. I'm sorry for all of the words I have said!!" He cries pleading for his dear life but this girl is too numb to feel any mercy on him

"Too late" The older girl then slit his neck with the knife

She harshly dropped his head to the floor, blood pours to the floor from his neck and it flows to the younger girl's shoes. The younger girl was left frightened for her life, her body grew weak and felt sick by witnessing something gruesome at such a young age. While the older girl went to the young girl again with a proud grin on her face while the old man is slowly meeting his death

"What a coward.. you're weak. I thought you're just like me but I guess not" She scoffs

"Though I'm giving you another chance so that you coming with me here won't be a waste. He's still alive, why don't you be the one to end him?" The older girl suggested

"I'm n-not like.. you. Go away!" The younger girl tries to back away but the older girl grabbed her hair and moved closer to the kid

"Tssk.. no wonder your mother is ashamed of you" She shook her head as she play the knife around the young girl's face

"I'll give you a deal. Kill him and I'll let you go" The older girl handed the knife to her, she slowly took it

"Kill him!" The older girl shouted that made her startled

"No!" The younger girl stabbed the older girl's abdomen in panic then pulled out the knife

She was shocked by her actions and unconsciously dropped the knife to the floor while her hands were shaking. There the older girl touched the stab given by the kid

As for the younger girl, she didn't know what to do so she ran out of the mansion. Fastly as if she's being chased by a ghost. The young girl ran and ran, every path that she ran to left a footprint of blood from her shoes. She reached the house and surprisingly, her mother worried and waiting out in cold night for her daughter to come back

"Mom" The younger girl weakly approached her mother

While the mother's eyes widened upon seeing the blood on her daughter's hand and shoes, she acted as if she didn't see anything. She has a suspicion that her daughter did something terrible but she ignored it, She embraced her daughter and hear her daughter cry
