Flashback …

The children outside of the classroom are crying and terrified as they witness her hit the poor cat with a rock again and then again. While Y/n didn't showed any remorse and doesn't even care if the cat's blood are all over clothes and face

Some time …

Sitting on the chair outside of the classroom, Y/n feels that the students are looking at her, she looks at them but they all run away out of fear. She didn't gave any reactions as if she's used on it

While her mother is inside the office talking to Y/n's homeroom teacher

"I don't mean to offend you in any way, ma'am. But is Mirae having a hard time at home?" The teacher asked

"Not that I know of, is there something wrong? I quickly came here as possible after I heard about it" Y/n's mother smiled

"Mirae's classmates reported to me that she unalive a stray cat outside of the classroom. All of her classmates were terrified, Mirae is just 8 to think about doing horrific actions unless she's been exposed to violent things at young age"  the teacher asked that made her mother's smile fade

"Is your family perhaps a fan of horror movies or maybe you have a relative who has a criminal record?"

"No, ma'am. My family is clean"

A little later …

Y/n's mother exits the office she looks at Y/n

"C'mon" She said, Y/n stood up and followed her mother until they exited the school. Her mother turned around and her faces her

"Why did you do it?" She asked

"The cat is blind and old, they also said it has kidney failure. I just made its life easier instead of suffering more years. It's better to die now then suffer for more days" Y/n explained

That night …

Y/n is in her room, she keeps hearing shouts downstairs and knows it's her parents. She decided to come out of the room and went downstairs, she hid behind the wall

"And so what if Mirae did that? She probably wants to be a doctor just like me!" Mr Jeon said

"If she wants to be one, she will save the cat instead of killing it!" Y/n's mother said

"She's only taking after me, she's curious about the medical field. That's all so stop overreacting because it's just a cat! Nothing but a worthless animal!"

"I'm not overreacting because if Mirae was able to kill an animal then it'll be a matter of time before she kills a human too!"

Y/n decided that this is enough so she went back to her room

Time skip …

Her mother is putting the clothes in the suitcase while she quietly cry, she stops when she hears the door opened

"What do you think you're doing?" Mr Jeon asked and approached her

"You're leaving? Fine, but don't you dare bring Mirae with you. She will live with me, she's more better with me"

"No, I'll take her with me"

"If that'll happen" he scoffs

While Y/n was actually awake only pretending to be asleep, her mother thought she was being quiet while crying but Y/n could hear her
