“it's finally lunch time you've all been waiting for.” the artists cheers, excited to finally eat. “but because we're busy today, it's only open for 10 minutes. it's first come, first serve.”
rory, who was still enjoying her unfinished, now lukewarm sparkling water, was startled as her members ran to stand in the line.
realizing why, she calmly stands up, taking her sweet time to walk towards the long line, even moving out of the way of the others, which is the reason she is last.
mingyu pointed at the blonde, “you're last?” she smiled, “i was. but now, you are.”
after a few minutes passed, it was finally her turn. producer nah gaped, “rory, were you last in line?” she nodded, “the first game drained the life out of me.” the older man laughed and took her paper, “well, let's hope this game does the opposite.”
opening the paper, he read, “math question. how many minutes are in a full week?”
rory closed her eyes, her mind calculating, she may not be very physically inclined but academically, she was. “10,080 minutes!”
“right! please choose your meal.” producer nah said. the blonde cheered, happy to choose her desired meal.
“what was your question?” yunjin asked as she walked by. “me? it was 'how many minutes are in a week'” rory answered.
“how many minutes in a week?” seungkwan repeated, his mind searching for the answer.
sakura and chaewon welcomed their unnie with big smiles. “was your question hard?” the blonde answered with, “so-so.”
the game (?) was finally over and everyone was enjoying their hard-earned meals. rory shared some of hers with eunchae as she couldn't finish it by herself.

a/n: this chapter is very short but as soon as i post this, i am working on the next chapter. haven't posted in a week, i got sick. we thought it was covid but good thing it wasn't. my head is still buzzing but i wanted to finally update.
