▬▬ ▬ ㅤ 𝒉𝒊 ! here is a list of the 𝒘𝒆𝒃𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔 & apps i use as well as what i 𝒖𝒔𝒆 them for . i design on a 𝒑𝒄 , not a phone , so i tend to use more websites ! i'll be underlining websites & italicizing apps < 3
𝒊. photopea.com , photoshop ━━ i primarily use photoshop to make my graphics , since i get it for free through school , but i understand that most people don't have access to it so i'll be doing most of the tutorials on photopea ! photopea is a free , website version of photoshop & has many similar features . it's the best site for making gifs , filtering , making covers , etc . accounts are free , and while not required , allows access to more features .
𝒊𝒊. polarr ━━ polarr is an app used for filtering graphics . while you can also use it on a desktop , the app version of polarr allows you to import more filters ! it's very easy to use others' filters , as well as creating your own , & polarr filters often help a lot in tying together graphics .
𝒊𝒊𝒊. deviantart.com ━━ i use deviantart mainly for downloading psds ( a type of filter that works on photoshop & photopea files ) , but it's also extremely helpful in finding resources to add to your graphics ( ie ; hair pngs , eyes , borders , etc ) . psd filters are mostly downloadable from here , & help a lot to enhance your graphics !
𝒊𝒗. removebg.com ━━ removebg is key to making pngs & makings removing the backgrounds of images so so easy . while i know how to make my own pngs by masking , i primarily use this one as it is quite precise & quick to use .
𝒗. canva ( .com ) ━━ i use canva in both the website & app , so i'd recommend using it whichever way is more convenient for you ( web tends to be easier ! ) . & i love canva , it was got me into designing . i primarily use it for moodboards before filtering them , but it's also great for themes & many other graphics ! it's especially helpful for beginner designers in terms of covers & more .
𝒗𝒊. pinterest ( .com ) ━━ i use both the website & app for pinterest , so again , use whichever mode is better for you . pinterest is great for finding resources , images , inspiration , filters - literally everything . i have a board on my pin acc with some resources for anybody who needs a bit of help - i'll link it in the comments < 3
𝒗𝒊𝒊. dafont.com ━━ i use dafont as my main method to getting & downloading fonts ! i'll have a tutorial up at some point as to how you can download fonts . i'll also add a list of some of the main fonts i use in a bit :)
