note: i'm a biased bxtch because i got super sad when Flamepaw described Rootspring as a heartbroken grieving cat (or watev) after losing Bristlefrost at the gathering (while chatting w/ Ivypool) but i'd gotten pissssed hearing abt Slate being all recessed and depressed after Gray Wing lol
