Until one girl showed up to his class. Nathan didn't have any real friends at school, mainly because he was fat and ugly, but he was okay with that, he got used to it pretty well, and he didn't really liked anyone either. He was caught of guard, this was a first time he really felt something after his parents' death. She was small, shy, really petite and she seemed mysterious. She was like a dream for him, it was love at first sight. He was really confident, and he wanted to approach her, but he still had to encourage himself to do it, he was really stunned.
After all the clases, where he did nothing but was staring at this new girl the whole time, he went to get lunch. It took him some time, because the halls were full of people getting out of school, but he made it, he was finally there. He grabbed his lunch and was prepared to go sit to his usual place, where no one was sitting before, but today, something changed. She was there, quietly sitting at his usual spot, eating her lunch.
