contrary to popular belief, sunny likes living in hawkins, indiana. sure it's a small town in the middle of nowhere, leaving everyone in it with absolutely nothing to do. but at least it wasn't a large city. cities meant a monotonous cycle of fitting in and existential crisis'. miserable people with bleak futures who wear facades of happiness lived in huge cities.

sunny knows that better than anyone.

not that hawkins was any different, but it's a small town that brought along robin buckley.

the only true saying that came from the city is queers always manage to find a way to each other. almost liked a trained police canine, but instead of finding recreational drugs, it's gay people. all it took was one glance to know. since then they've been stuck together like gum on hair.

with it came the safety of being able to hide their sexualities, because boys can't hang out with girls without wanting something from them.

so, contrary to popular belief, sunny likes hawkins. nothing bad ever happens in places like indiana, other than the occasional christian mother who preaches nonsense every sunday morning. they were the true monsters, right?

boy was he absolutely wrong.
