FORGIVENESS

Yuna's POV

I woke up with Chaeryeong unnie beside me. I had a vivid memory of what really happened yesterday but I felt safe when Chaeryeong unnie's with me.

I snuggle in the crook of her neck hugging her tightly

"Are you awake?" She asked and I nodded

I guess I woke her up

"Do you want anything? I'll get it for you." She said as she caressed my hair

"Just stay here with me please?" I said and she turned her side at me hugging me back

"If that's what my pumpkin wants, then she'll get it" she lifted my head and gave me a peck on the lips

"I love you" she whispered

"And I will never leave you" she added

Not even a single word came out of my mouth. I just hug her tightly not wanting to let go

"I won't ask you about anything, or what happened yesterday hmm? Just tell me whenever you're ready" she said and I felt a tear came out from my eyes

"You can cry, you can cry when you're with me"

Unnie, she's really the best thing that God had given me. I'm very thankful that's she's here with me in this kind of situation

"Unnie" I stopped and wiped my tears and looked at her

"Can you stay by my side forever? Promise you'll never leave me" I said and she nodded, giving me a kiss on my forehead

She let me hug her until I calm down and recover my senses

"I'm hungry" she said that made me let go of the hug

"I'm sorry unnie. You can go now" I said and she stood up and pulled me

"Unnie, I don't have an appetite" I said

"No, we're having breakfast together" she dragged me outside and we went to the pantry area. She made two coffees for the both us

"I almost forgot" she stood up suddenly

"I'll go at the movie room. The others slept their since they're also worried about you. I'll go check on them first" she said then leave the room

I was left alone and started to overthink again

Why is he back?
Is he back for good or he'll leave me again as soon as I forgive him?
I can't bear to see my mom cry and breakdown when he leave us
I'm already happy with my life even if I only have mom as my parent

I was deep in my thoughts when Chaeryeong unnie came back

"Yuna~ are you okay?" She asked

"You haven't even touched your breakfast" she added

"You said we'll eat breakfast together. I waited for you"I said and pulled her so she can sit beside me

"You should've eat first" she said and take a sip of coffee

I also started to consume my breakfast. The both of us have been both dead silent and just focusing on our food then I thought that it's about time to tell Chaeryeong unnie what happened. I know it's not a big deal, but still...

"Unnie, my dad came home yesterday" I said while looking on the floor. She grabbed my hand and squeeze it softly

"So, what did you say to him?" She asked

"I told him to leave but I was the one who ended up leaving the house" I said and continue to look on the floor

"You didn't even let him speak or explain why he left you and your mom?"
