SYLVESTER MENDOZA

I have decided to let myself check by my personal doctor. And Dr. Florentino told me that in cases like me that had experienced traumatic events at such an early age, it's normal. He also said that maybe something made it triggered to resurfaced which made me confused.

How possible? Eh wala namang bago sa routine ko. Work, leisures, sleep.

"How did it go?" Erra asked as she sat on the couch in front of me.

"Well,"

"Dr. Florentino said this was just caused by stress. "I swear Erra." I said to convince her.

"Psh." she rolled her eyes on me. "By the way, how about the company?"

"I already have my secretary."

"Seriously Syl? Tatambakan mo ng trabaho yung bago mong secretary? Dapat binibigyan mo ng time para mag adj—"

"She'll only do her own tasks. My task is mine to do, okay?" She always have that side. A thoughtful kind of boss. She may be a perfectionist and an intimidating person in terms of work, but she'll never let the people under her experience pressure. "What are you doing here, by the way?"

"It's obvious that I'm checking on you, what else?" she said sarcastically. "Since Kuya Matt isn't here, I'll stay here to look after you."

"But—"

"I'm just worried of you, Syl. Ayokong makita ulit yung nakita ko for the past years na naulit lang nung isang araw. We were bestfriends after all."

Hinayaan ko nalang sya sa gusto nya. I know it was her making sure that I am safe and sound.

"Anyways, tumawag si Aunt kanina. And she told me na hindi mo raw sinasagot ang tawag nya?" I sighed at mukhang alam naman nya iyon. "I know.

Masaya na ako na alam kong nag aalala sila para sakin, you know what I'm saying."

"That's why I liked you in the first place. You didn't change."

"Tsh."

Kuya Matt calling...

"Hey, are you okay? Mom told me what happened."

"Tch. We're fine.

"Yes, Syv. I'm here with this assh*le dahil nag aaway kami pag magkalayo kami. Kung sinu sino kase kinikitang babae rito eh psh."

I'm somehow sad of what she said. She didn't know about it. She didn't know how Mom loathe her relationship with Kuya Matt just because she didn't satisfies Mom's standards. And that sucks.

"Ang ganda kase nila, sweetheart." I heard Kuya Matt on the background.

"And you dare to call me sweetheart while praising other women?" I faked my chuckle because it was just Kuya Matt's alibi. Ate Trianne is a very conscious woman when it comes to the people around her. Which means, when someone didn't like her, hindi nya na ipagpipilitan pa ang sarili nya. At yun ang kinakatakot ni Kuya Matt.
