CHAPTER 42

*after 3 years*

Ward's POV

"Are you sure that you want to go back to Philippines for a bussiness meeting, sweetie? I can do it naman if you don't want to." Dad said. I have a bussiness meeting kasi sa Philippines para sa investors namin doon. Bukod kasi sa bussinesses here in UK, we also have bussinesses there.

I handle all of our bussinesses all over the world. I asked Dad last year if I can take the responsibilities since wala na rin naman akong ginagawa, also so he can rest na. He still guides me naman.

"I'll do the meeting nalang, Dad. It's just a 2 days meeting lang naman. I also miss my friends there, I want to have a bond with them since I've been away for years. After 5 days babalik din ako rito." I said. He nodded.

"Okay, tell your PA to book you a flight and a hotel there. Mag-iingat nga, anak." He said at kiniss ako sa forehead.

"Yes, dad. Thank you."

After that conversation with Dad, I went back to my room and had an Instagram call with Angel. I never lose a contact with her. I deactivated all of my social medias before when I went back to UK except for my private account na alam ni Angel. I just told her na wag naming pag-usapan si Ano or else pati siya, hindi ko na kakausapin.

A: What's up, babe. How's your day?

W: I'm good. It's just a busy day pero I'm used to it naman na.

A: So what's the matter? Why did you call me?

W: Ayaw mo ata eh, sige end ko na.

A: Baliw ka talaga! Hindi ko ayaw. I'm just curious why did u call kasi hindi ka naman tumatawag if it's not important.  You're so busy kaya.

W: I just want to tell u na I'm gonna go to Philippines on Monday for a bussiness meeting.

A: Wow, finally! babalik kana rin.

W: I'll go back there just for 5 days. So ikaw, clear your schedule for 2 days dahil gagala tayo after my agendas.

A: Sure, babe. I'll tell Jovanni nalang to handle our bussiness muna. Wala kana bang gustong makasama na dati mong friend? So that I can tell them too.

W: si Steph, u know her right? I miss her too. Please do tell her na uuwi ako dyan at sabihan mo rin siya na sumama sa gala natin.

A: Okay, noted.

W: Yun lang naman. Sige na, umaga dyan sainyo pero samin madaling araw na. I need to sleep. Good night.

A: Goodnight babe, see u soon.

I ended the call at ginawa na ang night routine ko at natulog.

Pagkagising na pagkagising ko ay nag-ayos na agad ako for work. Kailangan kong pumunta sa isang place for a bussiness meeting and yun na ang last meeting ko for this day dahil I need to prepare myself and my things din dahil bukas na ang flight ko pabalik ng Pilipinas. Matagal-tagal na flight din yun.

"Any other schedule for today, Chin?" I asked at sumakay na sa Van. She is my personal assistant and secretary, Pinoy din siya.

I just finished the meeting.

"Wala na po. All cleared." Sagot niya.

"Kuya Wilson, daan po tayo sa Highgate." Saad ko.

"Okay, Maam."

After few minutes ay dumating na rin kami dito. It's a private cemetery here in UK.

Bumaba ako ng Van at nagtungo sa puntod niya.

Our angel in heaven. Our son. Yes, he died. He was just 7 months nung nilabas ko, kulang siya sa buwan because of so many complications. Sobrang napabayaan ko ang sarili ko habang pinagbubuntis siya because I was broken. He lived for 3 days, he was just in NICU that time and after that he died.

"Hi anak. I'll leave for a few days ha, uuwi ng Philippines si Mommy ha for work. May chance na makita ko ang Dada mo and if I see her, I will let her know na we had you, na nagkaroon kami ng little prince. Mahal na mahal kita anak." I said as I wipe my tears off. He uses Angge's middle name dahil sperm naman ni Angge ang ginamit to make him, ako lang ang nagdala.

Ilang minutes lang akong nagstay doon at umalis na rin. Umuwi na ako para magprepare ng mga gamit ko for tomorrow's flight.
