YOUR POV:

I went to wangshu inn to help out with the staircase. I finished in time to watch the sunset on the roof, but someone was up there too.

"Hello?" I said but the person didn't respond until I said 'hello' again .

"who's there.." he said 

"first of all who are you?"

I walked up to him and he said 'you don't look like your from here' 

" oh uh me? yeah i'm from monstdat haha.." 

".. well um my names Xiao, yours?"

"ohh um im Y/n"

"nice name ig"

XIAO'S POV:

I liked this person somehow, They were 'nice' to me I felt 'warm' inside, It was a new feeling for me  

I asked what they were doing here while they told me why they were here I look at them and just listened, I smiled but they looked odd and tired 

" XIAOO?? HELLO"

" huh..oh uhh sorry i zoned out"

" MHMM YOU DID"

"ow..my ears, stop yelling"

"ohh haha sorryy" 

"we should go inside..its cold out here"

YOUR POV:

I was shivering he took me inside of wangshu inn, I made soup so I could warm up. after that i went back too a camp and slept there. I couldn't get Xiao out of my head, and i never will. He was kind to me and somewhat sweet, I swear I heard footsteps while i was asleep. I woke up and there he was, right in front of my tent and said. 

"aren't you cold out here?" 

"yes, but why do you care"

"why do I care about you? I consider you as a 'friend' "

"a friend?"

"ig.."

"well then.."

"wha-"

I pulled him in the tent and held him tightly so I would be warm I could feel his heartbeat. I laughed at him.

"u-um why did you pull me in h-here"

"so I could be warm ofc!"

"pfft- Let me go"

" NO, NEVER HAHA"

"ugh.."

XIAOS POV:

I felt safe and warm but I had some battle scars that I didn't want them to see, so I turned around so I could face them and hid my arms but since they were asleep I got out and covered the scars but I didn't have anything to cover me with, I didn't care at all , I felt like a kid  

"Y/n.." I poked their arm so they could wake tf up 

" *groan* what Im sleepy"

"can you hold me? pls"

"fine, then let me sleep"

"ok.."
