Nicholas was tired and couldn't understand how those things had happened to him. He could not believe he had had the power to lift those thieves some feet above the ground, as well as to take their guns out of their hands. Lying in bed, he spent some time looking at the ceiling thinking of his mom and his little sister. He remembered the way his sister used to go to his bedroom and ask him to tell her some stories, and he missed her so much that his eyes were soon filled with tears.
"How can I be away from them? How long will it take for me to go back home? Oh, how I miss my family. I wish I could be in touch with them to explain that I'm fine, but I also know it would make them vulnerable to danger. Sivoc's right, it's better to leave them unaware of my whereabouts. I just hope they aren't suffering too much with my absence."
Thoughts like those, about the people he was forced to leave, devastated him, until the moment he was overcome by sleep.

Zara got into her lover's room and spent some minutes looking at him, who was in deep sleep. She thought about everything that happened at the park, and decided to inform her friends who were resting in the living room. The captain, Drako and Tibor listened to her.
"I'm sure it's an incredible ability of his, and I don't believe the microchips we implanted are the source of that power."
"If not, what's the explanation?" Sivoc asked. "Drako, being a specialist in Information Systems, could you tell us?"
"I know nothing at all about telekinesis. As well as everyone on our planet, I have just heard many stories about Merko's gift. But I've never seen it happen, and to me it was nothing but a myth."
They looked at Sanches and Zara asked the boy:
"Have you ever seen anything like this when you were around your friend?"
"Never!" He was also puzzled.
"Anyway, even not being aware of the source of his skill, we must train him. I'll help him channel his talent and use it the best way possible, without any waste of stamina."
All of them agreed with Tibor, and Zara relaxed because, if Nick used his power with wisdom, he could protect himself better. As soon as Nicholas woke up, she would explain him about his new training.
Meanwhile, the earthling had a terrible dream. His family was in danger. Many dangerous E.T.s had broken into his house, and one of them was going straight to Sophia's bedroom, while another one went to his mother's. He broke out in a cold sweat... Things started to move in a frenetic way in their rooms and furniture and other objects were being thrown through the window. Suddenly, in his dream, a very strong force field put the E.T.s in a jail made of energy, and he himself, despite being asleep, was nervous, shaking his head from side to side.
In his bedroom, at the hotel, the boy was frightened. The feeling of power blew up inside him, and all the objects around started moving too. The lamp was thrown against the wall and the two nightstands broke apart.
With all that noise, Zara got into his room breathless and saw the light flashing on and off.
"Nick, wake up! Wake up!" She yelled shaking his wet head. Nicholas woke up and sat up in astonishment.
Everyone woke up worried and Sanches was even more nervous about all that mystery.

At the North of the planet, Merko widened his eyes; he was at the base and noticed an abnormal activity in the air, an impressive peak of energy.
"What is that?! It seems someone is using the power of telekinesis here on Earth. That's impossible! Nobody has that gift here!"
