This will be explaining all the family business and bits and details that will be important. You are the second daughter of the life and death family AKA Yami (I know it means darkness) during the periods of time one of the death family members married the life family members and you can guess the death was the male and the life was a female so your family has the last name Yami and when somebody joins the family they have the decision of going to the dragonish spirits to be put into the life section of the family or the death section of the family but you got both sides which did cause a bit of fighting in the family it made your father look at you as a disgrace and her mother was trying to look out for you.
You do have two siblings one sister one brother both older than you and married they don't talk to you as much since they don't really have time, they were put in arranged marriages like you are going to be put in and with the whole dragon Spirit thing those dragons spirits will not be yours they are just what decide what your dragon spirit is and yeah
