Wheres the happy ending we hope for?
As days bled into years,
My heart erased the enchantment,
Love was nothing more than sorrow.
Heartbreak and loneliness, the two most lethal things for the heart itself.
We all started off with a lions heart, mighty and strong- not knowing what scurried ahead.
Maybe youre too good for humanity, yet we all fall eventually.
Love is needed. Whether thats family, friendships or relationships.
I say when you get a crush, itll crush you.
If youve lived with a loving family, loving friends or even lived through a long relationship?
Id say I envy you, yet youre surprisingly the ones getting hurt without notice.
Youre afraid to live without that constant love, that regular affection- so you stay no matter the bleeding cause.
People may call you gullible, yet youre just living in fear.
For those of you whom are broken, Im sorry. Im not going to agree with the ' itll get better' phrase.. yet give yourself the benefit of the doubt. Let yourself heal. Let your souls become more vigorous.
