in which
a year after stefan salvatore's death, the salvatore borading school for the young and gifted is doing less than well. the division which witches, vampires and werewolves is making more troubles than it's worth, a new fight every period and hate crimes coming from every faction.
caroline forbes knows better than anyone about the division between the three factions. when she first turned into a vampire she had a witch best friend and a werewolf boyfriend but they sorted out their differences and she knows her students can do the same. now that seven year old hope mikaelson, a tribrid, has joined the school, it's important that all three factions get along more now than ever.
