There twin girls that would do anything for each other or anyone around them. With summer just around the corner and their family friends arriving summer has never felt better. Except this summer was different this was their summer

Dinner at the fishers —'{ chapter eight }'—
Having dinner at the fisher house was always the best and surprisingly Susannah's dining room could fit three family (including hers obviously)
"You girls ready to go" Georgia called to her kids as the twins walked down looking very nice delilah had a nice lavender sun dress with her hair down letting her light brown waves fall just below her shoulder and paisley came down in white laced heels not the super tall one but beside the point she also wore a similar sun dress as her sister but in white and her dirty blonde hair was pulled in a very cute half up half down style "yeah I think we're ready" paisley said looking at her sister who nodded
"You both look stunning" Georgia complimented her girls knowing that both lady's next door would do the same thing
"Well you two look lovely" Laurel complemented the twins as they walked through the door being sure to give Laurel and Susannah a hug before sitting down "thank you" the twins responded in unison no one ould ever believe how big susannah's dinning room table was big enough to hold all three tables and the dads when they came over or the camerons even when taylor shows up for visits but it did
georgia sat inbetween laurel and belly , delilah sat on the end of the table next to conrad and paisley was next to jeremiah it was perfect the way it all just kinda worked everytime
steven and jeremiah were laughing at something on stevens phone in the middle of dinner which was bad there was a no phone at the table rool in this house and to the brooks family it mattered big time "steven put the phone away" delilah demanded "okay mom" he snikered back at the girl but before she could bite back she was interupted by an actual adult "both of you chill out steven i swear to god if you look at that phone one more time im putting it in the screen basket" laurel tells her kid as georgia and susannah send the boy a simple smile backing up their best friend
"its just we want to see your beautiful faces all of your beautiful faces" susannah says looking at every kid at the table "can dinner be a screen free zone yk like the olden days" geogia says earning a smile type laugh from susannah
obviously steven did not listen because when paisley glanced over the boy was still on his phone so smacking jer's leg was the first thing she thought to do "hes still on his phone" she whispered in the boys ear as he looked at his best friend "steven" jeremiah said grabbing the phone and standing up basket ball throwing it into the screen basket "scoreee" jeremiah screams making it in as the table erupts is cheers and laughs with one angry steven "thats what you get steven" delilah joked "oh shut up all of you we get it youve been working out" steven snapped
"yeahhe has" paisley whispers glancing over only to be met with her twins shocked eyes trying not to laugh at her sisters massive crush on jeremiah "oh you're jst jealous because jere has a better body than you" belly adds her input as delilah laughs "now that is so true im seconding it" she says taking a bite of her dinner steven looks at both girls with a sarcastic mad face
"um no actually its all about the leen look now or else you cant wear talered suits" he says making everyone laugh "sure buddy" jer says patting him on the back "tailored suits" conrad says for the first time tonight he hasnt been much of a talker these days
as everyone calmed there laughing the one thing that could ruin the whole vibe was brought up "when are you leaving for training camp man?" steven asked conrad the room fell silent as the fishers looked at each other and conrad glanced at delilah she was the only person outside of the fisher family that knew he quit football "uh he quit football" jere answered for him
"jere" delilah harshly said lowly under her breathe that wasnt for jeremiah to say that wasnt his story and even after that the room still fell even more quiet and everyone knew the twin couldnt handle when rooms fell quiet "so susannah is there dessert" delilah said out of no where to try to change the subject but it was more so she didnt panick from the quietness and looking at paisleys head fall to her lap made he think she had to say something but of course we couldnt move on from this topic
so delilah sat and watched bellys eyes drift to conrad with a sad look "wait really you quit" steven continued the conversation as if delilah had said nothing but conrad had only hummed in response "are you kidding me man id kill to play collage ball" steven said looking between all the adults and conrad "he can always change his mind" susannah said with a soft smile
as delilah let out a deep breath "im not gonna change me mind i was just gonna sit on tge bench all season anyways " conrad shot back at his mother "connie dont say that you wouldve done great" paisley says with a bright smile "well if you're not playing football anymore what are you gonna do al summer" laurel asked the boy but he shrugged
"oh dude you can work at the club" steven says in excitement "yeah with me and jere" he continues boths getting to excited for their own well being "im not gonna work at the club" he shoots down their idea rather quickly "you could go job searching with the twins they are both getting a job this summer" georgia says "what" the twins say in unision and confusion "wait your all working this summer" belly asks " i had no idea bells this is the first im hearing about this" delilah protests putting her hands up in defeat "yeah im lifegaurding" jeremiah answers "im working the snack shop" steven answers "i might work at one of those bowtique stores" paisley says earning a shocked yet confused look from her twin
"oh girls i almost forgot i have a surprise for you" susannah says grabbing three envolopes with each of the girls names on it and hands then to belly , paisley and delilah
laurel seems the most stressed in the moment "so this is why you had to stop by the country club" laurel says seeming pissed as the three girls open their envelopes "wait im sorry susannah is this what i think it is" georgia says dropping her fork to watch the twins open the cards as susannah shrugs
"i wrangled belly, paisley and delilah invitations to be a debutante" susannah say as each girl pulls out an invitation
SAVVY SPEAKS; i hope you enjoyed i know thats kind of an off ending point but the next chapter will pick up and well youll see if i ever get around to posting it lol sorry for the wait hope you like it lmk if you have any ideas
