What is scoliosis?

Scoliosis is where you spine curves to the right or to the left. There are actually three types of scoliosis mild moderate and severe. Mild is anything under 20 moderate is 20 - 40 and severe is 40+. I have been diagnosed with moderate. There are also 2 ways that the spine can curve either in the shape of a c or a s I have a s with my top curve at 38 degrees and my bottom at 37. This causes me to come home from school regularly. Scoliosis also can effect a lot of other things like your lungs I also have this and my doctor hopes this will get me to see a spinal expert soon as he thinks this is a very serious case of scoliosis. He also thinks that there is a 70% chance of my spine worsening.
