Confused feelings

Part 1

Erin's POV:

As is tradition, we're hanging out, cooking, watching rom-coms and talking about our crushes, what isn't tradition however is the way I feel when I look at Lilia or the inexplicable jealousy when it was her turn to talk about her crush, the way she talked about that woman just made me feel bad because I wished she was talking about me, but I don't even know why, hell I call this woman my sister for heaven's sake.

Anyway, my turn passed and I lamely said I wasn't crushing on anyone I honestly don't think Lauren believed me and that's a problem, she does not mind calling people out she kind of enjoys if I am being honest.

"Erin, Erin, ERRIN" – I hear, I looked up and saw that Lauren was calling me

"You spaced out bud, you, okay?" - Lauren asked me

"Yes, just thinking, um what are we talking about?"- I asked

"Oh, me and Lilia are going on a coffee run and asked what you guys wanted"- said bri

"Nah I'm fine"- I said as I don't really like coffee that much

So, with that they left, and Lauren and me stayed in Lilia's room cleaning up the mess from earlier

"SOOO"- started Lauren

"don't give me that look" – I told her

"What look?"- she asked

"The look you get when you think you have figured something out"- I told her giving her a playful look

"Well, I know I have not figured anything out, but I do know I am on to something"- she said then paused and looked at me

"I know something is bothering you, and trust me I think I have it a little figured out"- she told me with a smirk

"Oh really?"- I said

" Yes, I just need to verify it but that shouldn't take long" - she told me laughing

with that I took the hint that she wasn't going to tell me her thoughts, so we changed the topic , Lilia came up once or twice as did bri , we were talking about their crushes and what we thought of them. Though she started smirking all of a sudden, and I looked at her with a smile and asked her what?

" I know who you are crushing on"- she told me

" Umm what? no you don't" - I replied defensively

"Wait... you told us you were not crushing on anyone" - said Lilia looking hurt

Shoot, so apparently, they were back from the coffee run,

so, I started to reply to Lilia with a stutter which only made Lauren smirk more, maybe she does know

"I-I-I well I do-o but I can't uh figure out how to go about th-h-his and I-I-I thought that if I didn't actually voice it out, I wouldn't feel as nervous" I said

"Makes sense" -Lilia said in her usually cheery voice

after that we all went to the kitchen to have dinner

*Beep beep*

my phone alerted me I had a new message, it was from Lauren,

Lauren: so, that stuttering was me being wrong then

Me: I don't know what you are talking about

Lauren: we need to talk and you know it

Me: we do talk, we talked all day

Lauren: you know what I'm talking about

Lauren: Tomorrow I am taking you home, not Lilia, this way we can talk.

I sigh as I read the message and just replied a simple okay, I really was dreading tomorrow's talk.
