back again for a star spangled slay, this time for my love taryn. i've wanted to make something with steve rogers for ages and of course one of my best friends is the one who finally affords me the opportunity 😌😌 as it turns out, what a surprise, steve has an INSANE amount of resources—i'd argue too many. so i did have a bit of a panic when it came to figuring out what i was going to do.
that said, i'm really happy with how these turned out. for the first cover, i used dc's lady shiva as taryn's oc, gwen. i've been wanting to use shiva for a while too, so that was exciting. i also incorporated sam wilson as this fic is based in the mcu and so i thought including sam would be a nice nod/foreshadow for the legacy he's eventually going to take on.
the second cover is my favourite. for this one, i used dc's doctor light as gwen. i kept everything as minimalistic as possible, with the focus on the title. this cover comes in two colour schemes, but i definitely prefer the first one.
