"C'mon, y/n!" I hear from the fluffy haired boy in front of me. "We need to get home!"

"But I wanna play in the rain!" I say in a whiny voice back to him, splashing in the puddles. Karl sulks just a bit ahead of me, grumpy at the weather.

Karl giggles a bit at me enjoying the rain, his mood lightening. He joins in on the fun, us locking arms and skipping all the way home.
As we enter the door, we get ready for bed; as it was already 9:00 ᴘᴍ. We get in bed, cuddling until we fall asleep.

I wake up, feeling a bit feverish, but I think nothing of it. I go downstairs to prepare breakfast; pancakes to be more specific.

I approach our bedroom door, bringing Y/n breakfast in bed. God they're adorable. I wake them up, sitting next to them in bed. "How did you sleep?" They ask, a sleepy voice in their throat. "I slept well." I respond, feeling their forehead. "Now, eat breakfast with me. We're both sick." They snuggle close to me, cuddling, because why not.
