Y/n's POV

After Finn killed the grabber he became popular.

I'm glad he's not getting bullied anymore but he hasn't been able to hangout with me that much cuz he has new friends.

I guess I'm happy for him I don't know I kind of miss hanging out with him. Ok yeah I actually really do miss hanging out with him.

I was walking in the hallway when I saw Finn by himself next to his locker.

I took my chance to ask him if he wanted to hangout today.

I walked up to him.

"Hey Y/n what's up." He asked

"Nothing much. Just wanted to see if you wanted to hangout today after school because we haven't done anything in while."I asked him

When I mean I while I mean 2 weeks.

"Oh yeah sure I'm free this afternoon." He said.

"Are you sure." I asked him.

"Yes I promise." He said giving me a small kiss.

"Okay great I'll see you after school bye." I said going to my first class.

*After school cuz I'm too lazy to do a whole school thing 🥲*

I went home to drop off my school things (like backpack or whatever) and thing went to go to Finn's house.

I knocked on his house only to have Gwen open the door.

"Oh hey y/n what are you doing here?" She asked.

"Oh me and Finn were going to hangout is he here?" I asked her.

"Oh um no.. sorry he went to hang out with Donna." She said.

My heart broke into a million pieces.

"H-he's with Donna. where are they. Do you know?" I asked her.

"Um...they should be by the park I believe." She said.

"Thanks." I told her.

"Your welcome." She said.

I left to go find him and Donna.

I found them at the park laughing and smiling at each other.

My heart crushed when I say them.

I think he saw me looking at them because he turned his head towards me.

I started to walk away with tears falling out of my eyes from what happened.

He promised me and broke it to go hang out with Donna.

"Hey Y/n wait please." He said running up to me.

"You lie. Why did you lie you promised me we would hangout today." I said with tears streaming down my face.

"Y/n i-im sorry I really am I forgot." He said.

"If you forget we planned things. Then just forget me too." I said to him.

"No y/n I would never bail on you." He said.

"Then why are with Donna. Did you forget that I was girlfriend too." I said.

"WHAT! no I would never forget about you being my girlfriend." He said.

"Then why are you with her." I asked.

"Cuz... we're doing a project together."  He said.

"What kind of project hmm? The one called 'let's not let y/n find out'. " I told him.

"Your just jealous of her. Please believe me we are working together." He said.

"ME JEALOUS. And why are you guys doing a project together at a PARK." I said.

"Because it's quiet. Or at least it was." He said.

I gave him a look for the last part he said.

I shook my head at him and walked away.

I walked home with tears streaming down my face.

'He couldn't have just called me and told me that he was doing that though'

I got home and slammed the front door.

"Hey Y/n are you okay?" My mom asked me.

I ignored her and ran upstairs to my room crying.

I slammed my bedroom door and began crying into my pillow.

I must have been cry so loud cuz I didn't here my mom coming in my room.

"Oh baby it's ok tell Mumma (I don't know what you call your mom but this is what I call mine don't judge me 😭) what happened tell me." She said rubbing my back.

I got up "He-he didn't even call me o-or told me that he made plans." I said said choke out a sob.

"Oh baby who who?" She asked rubbing my head this time.

"I doesn't matter." I said crying.

"Is it Finney?" She said.

I looked at her " how did you know." I asked.

"Y/n a mother knows what's always going on." She said.

"And Y/n I'm pretty sure he forgot to tell you I mean he's human we are all make mistakes. Now how about tell me everything I just made cookies." She said.

"Okay." I said getting up.

I went into the kitchen and told her everything over cookies and milk.

"Aw I'm sorry sweetie but I really do think he loves you like I said he's human all make mistakes." She told me.

"I know I feel bad for yelling at him what happens if he wants to break up with me." I said worried.

I really love him with words I can't explain.

I heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." My mom said getting up.

I started to get up to go to my room but then my mom called me.

"Yes mom." I said.

"Finney is at the door." She said

My heart dropped. 'he wants to see me?' I thought to myself.

I walked up to the door.

"Hey Y/n c-can I talk to you." He said.

"Yeah come inside." I said.

He came inside and sat down at our dinner table. We both were silent for a little.

"I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier." I told him.

"Oh- um... It's fine." He said.

"I guess you were right I was jealous at that time. And angry because you promised me that you would hangout." I said.

"It's fine I also forgot to call you and tell you that me and Donna were busy." He said.

We both looked at each other.

He got up and opened out his arms so I can hug  him.

I got up and hugged him tight.

"I really am sorry for acting like that." I told him.

He just pat my back and kissed the top of head.

"I know and I'm sorry too that's why I came back because I love you and wanted to apologize." He said.

"I love you too." I said looking at him from the hug.
