Chapter 3- Memories of the Past

"Yang is a genius in the field, and decisive in battle. Yes his a kid but he's got the guts."
"So your saying that its okay for a kid to be in battle? What about the trauma?"

"trauma? The kid has no feelings, when it comes to these monsters."

When i was 10 years old, i got a suggestion from my Teacher, Granger to become a demon hunter. Though i know it was dangerous i still took the job.

We're all going to die anyway.

The first and second battle was a bloodbath even though my only specialty is
Swordsmanship

They called me a Hachiman because of my battle skills
And called me Yang because of my hidden kindness

My real name was forgotten... it was there.. but i forgot.
No matter how i try, i can't seem to find it again

One day i was leading an army in battle when i saw one of the twilight orbs
I shouted "GO FOR THE LEADER!"

I dealt with the minions and made a pathway for my army
While i was fighting the minions, someone called out my name.

"Yang, come and join me in my dream world"

I tried to find the voice while killing the minions
When suddenly it struck me, it was the twilight orb that called me

I killed them all in a flash, because there was a feeling that i felt..
A feeling to reconnect a piece... in my heart..

I decapitated the leader and took the twilight orb
We got back to eruditio safe and sound

The twilight orb felt precious for me
So I retired being a demon hunter and turned myself into a researcher

I dedicated my life in researching, finding a way..
To bring back a celestial being.

But when Natan introduced the invention of a time machine
My assistants turned their eyes, time and life on that machine

But it never bother me, it's just gonna take more years
Though.. time was already running out.

When one day Natan went and helped me out
"Why help me? you must work on your invention" I asked natan

Natan replies "We have to work together to get through time"
"Well you're right about that.. But what will helping me benefit you?" I asked again

Natan answers me "It may or may not benefit me, but it will benefit you"
I was still confused but i thanked Natan

Until that day came..

"Natan what's happening?" I asked Natan
Natan told me "The time has come. Did you get your benefit?"

"Yes. I finally got the benefit." Yang tells him
Natan responds "Good."

The ground cracks and almost separates us both
I grabbed on air and summoned my sword

"NATAN START UP YOUR MACHINE!" I told Natan
"I'm trying!" Natan told me

I went on to fight when suddenly I heard Natan fall
I was left alone again

Yang wakes up, breathing heavily
Wanwan asks him "Did you have a nightmare?"

Yang answers "I wish it was."
