This is a prequel for "abusive zenitsu x tanjiro" when it first started to get abusive,this was a request Btw!
Tanjiro pov:
Zenitsu has been acting really weird lately, I think it's ever since his brother died.. It's like he's avoiding me? But same time never wants me, not by his side.. He's also been starting to get very frustrated at the smallest things that don't work out, but it's probably nothing!I hope...
No ones pov:
"I'm back tanjiroo!" Zenitsu yelled
"Oh!Wellcome back love!" Tanjiro said running to his lover to give him a hug but was pushed away
"Eh?you okay?"
"yes, I'm fine, just go make dinner or something.." he said walking to the bedroom and this made his lover worried, was he truly ok? I mean, maybe he was just still mourning over his brother's death.. But would he really pushes his lover away?
"I'm always here, you know! , if you're still upset about his death.."
"tanjiro stop please..Not everything is about his death, just leave me alone please" the older said as he continued to walk into their shared bedroom
"well, I'll make dinner hope you feel better..!" the boy said trying to cheer up his lover,but the older didn't respond
Time skipped when dinner's done
"Zenitsu!dinner is done! I made your favorite so you feel better!" the boy said, giving him a big smile, the older just gave him a small smile
"Thanks.."
"no need! it's my week to cook anyway! " Context (they take turns making dinner)
"It's really good tanjiro."a blank faced zenitsu said looking at his phone
"Hey um"the kind boy said as he stood up and walked towards his lover
" yes?"
"are you ok? I'm always here..!" he said going in for a hug, but to be pushed away a little violently
"can you stop and just leave me alone?!"
"I can't do tha-" he was cut off by a hard and painful slap to the face zenitsu NEVER hit him before so this was pretty shocking,tanjiro head face to the side as his face bruised in color
"SHUT UP" he said storming off to the bedroom
tanjiro thought this was a one time thing, maybe he just pushed him over the edge, but, oh boy was he wrong
This was the start of many painful years
