Bristol museum has a vast history just like any museum.
This book will look at the stories behind many of the items within the biology collection and any information behind them for any of you researchers out there.
Many of the items in the collections were either donated, purchased or from conversations. Some items may have been taken if they are first taxa of that species.
Everything in a museum is classed as for the public. This means the public can go in and see and research the items in a collection.
This includes the ones in their basements and not on show as only 1% of their collection is on show. This is due to them not wanting any important items to become damaged.
I hope many of you like these stories and find an interest.
