Y/N's slumber was interrupted by the gentle melody of Buttons' purring beside her. Rising from her bed, she scooped him up and settled him by her side. As she stretched her arms , a sudden wave of panic washed over her. It was dark outside, and she found herself inside her apartment without any memory of leaving the forest or returning home. Frantically, she sprang to her feet, grasping the nearest object within reach (which happened to be her iron, of all things) and began searching under her bed, her closet, and even her bathtub, her heart racing. Emerging from the bathroom, she found Buttons grooming himself, but he paused and met her gaze with a concerned meow. Jumping down from the bed, he followed Y/N as she cautiously approached her bedroom door, gently turning the knob and opening it. Buttons dashed out, running toward the kitchen, while Y/N called out in a whispered mix of anger and fear, "BUTTONS! COME BACK!" Gripping the iron in her hand, she raised it, declaring, "I HAVE A WEAPON, AND IM NOT AFRAID TO USE IT!" Listening intently but hearing nothing but Buttons' meows, she cautiously proceeded toward the kitchen. Upon reaching the kitchen, she meticulously inspected every nook and cranny, looking both the kitchen and living room, ensuring no one was hiding within. Satisfied that everything was undisturbed, she couldn't help but think about her car. With keys in hand, she locked the door and hurriedly descended the flight of stairs. Reaching her parking space, she discovered her car parked in its usual spot. She meticulously examined every inch of it until her eyes fell upon something beneath the rear windshield wiper. There, placed delicately, was a red rose adorned with a black ribbon. /N furrowed her brow, lifting the windshield wiper and retrieving the flower. She shared at it for a few moments before heading back to her apartment. Seated on her couch, she contemplated the enigmatic flower, wondering, "what is this? who placed it on my car? And how did I even make it home? I have no recollection returning or even falling asleep!" Confusion and frustration filled her mind as she set the rose on her coffee tableland made her way to the kitchen. Though she knew she was safe and that nothing sinister had occurred, questions plagued her thoughts. Everything appeared to be in its rightful place, her car unharmed, but the puzzle of her journey remained unresolved. Pacing back and fourth in her kitchen, she attempted to piece together her time in the forest, "Okay, I was jogging through the forest, and as it started getting darker, I tripped and fell..." She paused her expression a mix of bewilderment and astonishment. In a faint glow of recollection, she remembered two pairs of hazel eyes, a warm orange hue radiating from within. "Who was this mysterious stranger?" she wondered, "with eyes so kind, yet tinged with melancholy." Y/N's heart quickened its rhythm as an overwhelming desire consumed her-to uncover the identity of this person and explore any possible connection between them, including the notion that they may have been the one who brought her home, erasing her memory along the way.

*DIO's Pov*

Seated in a luxurious leather chair in his library, Dio found himself lost in thoughts of Y/n, his fingers toying with a small white contraption (Y/n's AirPods, to be precise). As he reminisced about their first encounter, he couldn't help but reflect on the profound impact she had on him. "I still remember that moment, Y/n," he murmured, his voice filled with a mix of nostalgia and longing. "The scent of the earth after the morning rain, the dew-kissed olive green leaves, and the gentle mist covering the forest. As emerged into a clear path, I caught sight of you. Concealed behind a tree, I watched you intently. Your aura captivated me, the sun's rays delicately caressing your skin, igniting envy within me. How can an exquisite, innocent soul lie yours be with the heart of a monster like me? We have never exchanged words or formal introductions, yet I find myself drawn to you, compelled to unravel the mysteries and wonders that lie within your being. You intrigue me, Y/n. It pains me to think that I may frighten you, driving you away, but I am helpless against it. You have ensnared my gaze." Frustrated, Dio rose from his chairing approached the balcony window of his library, gazing up at the bright, star-filled night sky. Speaking softly to himself, he added, "Though we may be worlds apart, I hope you notice this small token of mine." As Dio stood engrossed in the scenery, the door to his library creaked open, and Vanilla Ice cautiously peered inside. "He has been unusually distracted lately. I wonder what keeps him from his duties," Vanilla mused to himself. He lightly knocked on the door and Dio promptly responded, "Yes." "My apologies, Lord Dio. May I come in? I have some business matters to discuss," Vanilla inquired. Dio allowed him entry, his attention still fixated on the landscape before him. As Vanilla approached Dio, he suddenly froze in his tracks, a sense of fear engulfing him. Before Vanilla could utter a word, Dio's voice resonated softly, yet sternly, "Tell me, Vanilla. What is it that you desire most in this world?" Uncertain, Vanilla stammered, "I... I'm not quite sure, Lord Dio. Perhaps to conquer this world alongside you? Why do you ask?" Dio replied, "Desire is such a potent human emotion. Although I understand its meaning, I find it difficult truly understand its meaning, I find it difficult to truly comprehend. It's like being submerged underwater, desperately yearning for that first breath of fresh air." Dio paused, his tone introspective, before continuing, "Then again, it may all be mere ramblings. Pay no mind to it. Now, what business matters require our attention?" Slightly bewildered, Vanilla cleared his throat and spoke, "With all due respect, Lord Dio, the others and I have noticed your recent absence and wondered if you were occupied with other important affairs." "You should not concern yourselves with matters that do not pertain to you!" he exclaimed, lunging menacingly towards Vanilla Ice, "Now scurry away!" Dio commanded, his gaze piercing into Vanilla's eyes. Without uttering a single word, Vanilla obeyed Dio's demand, yet before exiting the library, he attempted to vent his frustration by slamming the door shut. However, a change of heart came over him, and his stand, Cream, gently closed the door, allowing it to latch softly.
