Chapter 4: What?! I'm going on a date?!

(Y/N)'s POV:

I was laying on my bed hugging my Shiny.

(Y/N)'s mind: Hmm...I wonder how Jessica's meeting went.
Well even if Carol doesn't like me, it doesn't matter.

(Y/N): I'll always have you my precious Shiny.

The battery started glowing brighter.

(Y/N): I will protect you with my life.

Timeskip:

At school:

I put my battery in the locker and went to class.

(Y/N): Ah, great. Biology again.

At Biology class:

I sat next to Jessica. She looked like she had some good news.

(Y/N): Why are you smiling?

Jessica: Well it turns out she likes you too.

I felt a blush on my face.

(Y/N): Y-You're sure?

She nodded.

(Y/N): Oh man. W-What should i do now?

 Jessica: I told her that you'll ask her out.

(Y/N): You...WHAT?

Jessica: Relax, i'll tell you what to do. And besides, she already likes you so you don't have anything to worry about.

(Y/N): I'm so dead.

At the cafeteria:

I called Carol to wait for me at the cafeteria. I kinda hoped she wouldn't come but there she was. As pretty as always.

Carol: Hello, (Y/N).

(Y/N): H-Hey t-t-there, C-Carol. How am i doing...i mean doing how you are...i mean...how are you doing?

Carol smiled.

Carol: I'm doing good.

(Y/N): That's good. I uhh...wanted to ask you something.

Carol: Sure, what is it?

(Y/N): Would you...like to...go out some time...with me i mean?

I was afraid of the possibility of rejection.

Carol: Of course! How does Friday sound?

I nodded in agreement.

(Y/N): I-Is 7 a good time?

Carol: Perfect even. It's a date.

We both were blushing madly.

Ring Ring

(Y/N): Oh, look it's the bell, guess it's time for me to go.

Carol: Yeah, me too.

I got up but slipped and fell. Carol chuckled and helped me back up.

The next two days we kept hanging out after school.

Thursday night:

(Y/N): Well, tomorrow is the night. I can't help but smile. 
Call me crazy but, i don't think she wants to steal you.

Shiny: She'll try just wait and see.

(Y/N): What do you know?

My battery just laughed.
