#22 You're babysitting and someone thinks you're a couple

Michael:

"MIKEY, MIKEY, MIKEY!" Little Nova yelled as she jumped up and down with her arms straight up in the air. "You wanna ride my shoulders again?" Michael asked and bend down to her level. Nova nodded her head heavy over and over again and giggled. "Alright then princess." Mikey said and grabbed her small waist and picked her up.

Today was an amazing day. The sun was shining and it was weekend, so when your cousin was going to visit you had to take both her and your best friend out in the park.

You walked towards them with an ice cream in your hand and two drinks in the other. You couldn't help but to smile as you watched your best friend and your cousin playing around together. They looked so cute and Michael was very good with kids.

"Here you go, sweetie." You said and reached up to give Nova the ice cream as she sat on Mikey's shoulder. He looked suspicious at you as you handed it to a happy Nova.

"You know, if she drops it in my hair it's your fault, Y/N." He said quietly and winked at you. You rolled your eyes and began walking around the park again. "She's a good 4-year old, you know." You defended and gently nudged his arm.

You kept on walking on the aisle when suddenly someone poked your shoulder. "Excuse me, can you take a photo of me and my family?" A man around 40 asked and smiled at you. You looked behind him and saw an older lady and two children friendly wave in your direction.

"Yes, of course." You agreed and turned around to take the picture. You grabbed the phone and clicked the camera app. "Say cheese!" You chuckled. The family smiled brightly as you took a few photos with the father's phone.

"There you go." You said and handed the father his phone again. "Thank you very much. And I have to say that your family is adorable." He said and smiled politely at you. You looked confused at him and frowned a bit. "My family?" You questioned.

"Yes, I always support young marriage and it lookes like you really love each other." The father said and nodded in Michael's direction. You turned around only to see Nova on Michael's hip as he kept on touching the top of his head. Nova was laughing widely as she kept on eating her ice cream and poking Mikey.

"Oh, well thanks, but---" "Well, time is going so fast! We have to get going. Bye now!" He interrupted you and turned around to his family. Your mouth was still slightly open as if you were about to keep on explaning that you weren't a couple, but the family was gone by now.

"Close your mouth if you don't enjoy eating flies." A voice giggled from beside you. You turned your head and looked at Mikey with a shocked expression. "Yeah sure, whatever." You responded and closed your mouth.

"Guess what just happened?" You continued and wiggled your eyebrows. "What?" He asked and poked Novas side which made her laugh out loud and almost fall out of Mikey's grip. "That man thought Nova was our child." You continued and chuckled.

"Well, call me dumb and all, but that was kind of cute actually." Mikey responded and winked at you. "I guess you're right." You said and nudged his arm again.

"And oh! Guess what happened when you were taking the photo?" Mikey suddenly asked and looked at you. "What?" You questioned and squinted. Mikey's expression suddenly turned around to a grumpy mouth.

"She dropped her ice cream in my hair."

Luke:

You and Luke were currently at the beach with your younger brother. Your parents were out of town and left you in charge, so you decided to take him and Luke out for a sunny day

"Eric, please stop." You whined as he kept on running around the towels where you and Luke were lying sun bathing which made the sand fly all over the place. "NO! I am super fast! Look Y/N!" He expressed and ran even faster.
