We were sitting down gathering around the table as Mike was holding the book facing him reading and hiding some figures behind it

Lucas and Will we're sitting beside each other while I was sitting beside Dustin, the one I have a crush on since 3rd grade.

I don't think he likes me back, or he doesn't even know I like him

"Something is coming. Something hungry for blood." Mike said anomalously

"A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in darkness."

"It is almost here." Mike said looking at the each of us

"What is it?" Will said looking at Mike

"What if it's the Demogorgon?" Dustin said his eyes widening

"It might be." I said unsure

"Oh, Jesus, we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon" Dustin would put his hand on his head exhaling

Will would lean back in his chair sighing

"It's not the Demogorgon." Lucas reassured

"An army of troglodytes charge into the chamber!" Mike slammed down the figure

"Troglodytes?" I said looking at Mike smirking

"Told ya." Lucas said laughing

It got silent for a second 'till Mike spoke up

"Wait a minute." He said softly

"Did you hear that?"

"That... that sound?"

"Boom... boom..."

"Boom!" Mike would slam the table making all of us jump Dustin grabbing my hand as I looked down

He looked at me before letting go mumbling

"sorry "

"It's okay.. " I said my cheeks getting red as Will's eyes darted to me for a split second before looking back at Mike

"That didn't come from the troglodytes."

"No, that.."

"That came from something else."

We would all look at each other preparing for the worst.

Mike would reach behind the book slamming the figure

"The Demogorgon!"

We'd all groan in annoyance

"We're in deep shit!" Dustin said

"I agree." I say leaning my head back sighing

"Will, your action!" Mike looked at Will

"I don't know!"

"Fireball him!" Lucas said

"I'd have to roll a 13 or higher!" He yelled

"Too risky. Cast protection spell." Dustin looking at Will

"He's right you need to use the Cast protection." I say agreeing with Dustin

"Don't be a pussy. Fireball him!" Lucas yelled

"Cast protection" Dustin repeated

Mike slammed the table once more

"The Demogorgon is tired of your silly human bickering!"
