Thea Stilton waswas pacing outside The New Mouse city orphanage, pacing around nervously. She was on the phone with her brother, Geronimo.
Thea:Geronimo, I'm really nervous.
Geronimo:Thea, you said you've wanted to become a mom, and here's your chance.
Thea:I know that. It's just that...I'm really scared. What if I screw up? What if the kid is a brat? What if they get hurt? What if they-
Geronimo:Thea! Relax. Look, you're nervous, but that is normal! What you're going through, a lot of first time parents go through the same thing. But you'll do great.
Thea:Do you really think so?
Geronimo:I know you'll be an amazing mother.
Thea:...Thanks...
Meanwhile at the orphanage, Alex, along his friends, were very excited for adoption day.

Boy:Finally! We're getting adopted!
Alex was very nervous.
Boy:Still nervous, dude?
Alex:Yeah. You really think my new parent or family will like me?
Boy:Of Course.
The boy noticed that Alex was reading Treasure Island.
Boy:Still fantasizing about having adventures? Hate to say it, but unless you get adopted by Indiana Jones, I don't see that happening.
Alex:Hey a kid can dream, can't he?
Soon the adults arrived and began talking to the children and selecting who they wanted to adopt. Thea was extremely nervous, hoping that whoever she adopted wasn't a complete brat. She then noticed that a few of the older kids were picking on Alex.
Bully Boy:Cute. Little Alex is having another adventure fantasy.
