Manik's pov
"You are so mean" she mummbled and I grabbed her hands stopping her from hitting me
"How am I mean"
"You are teasing me"
"Im not baby, I'm being serious. Can you come shower with me?" I said and her cheeks turned into a brighter shade of red
"Manik I umm" she stammered making me smirk
"Yes you" I said pulling her closer
My hand went behind her neck while my thumb caressed her cheeks pulling her closer slowly
"But I"
"Is there a problem" I asked, our lips inches away and she licked her lips making me internally groan
"Umm no woh I" I could see her eyeing my lips, maybe she wants it just as much as I do
"Yes shona, what is it" I asked and her eyes shifted form my lips to my eyes as she heard my words
I knew she loved it becasue her eyes twinkled and the happiness was clearly visible on her face.
"I already showered" she said and I smiled
"That's okay, have another one with me, ill make it worth your while" I mummbled and she looked down making me smile
"Manik"
"Yes shona"
"Don't say it like that na" she said
"Why darling, is it bothering you"
"No it's just"
"Just want Nandini" I said and tears made their way to her eyes
Before I could say anything my phone rang but I completely ignored it, however nandini did not
"Manik phone" she said wiping her eyes
"What's wrong, why are you crying" I asked wiping her cheeks
"Phone first" she said
"Just pick it up" I said and she nodded
"Hello" she said putting it on speaker
"Mumma" it was myra
"Hi baby"
"Mumma we got cotton candy" she said giggling
"Thats good, are you having fun baby"
"Yes so much fun, okay bye" she said
"Hey nandini"
"Hi cabir"
" Sorry, she just wanted to tell you that she got cotton candy, okay ill call you later to update okay"
"Sounds good" nandini said and cut the call
"Tell me what's wrong" I asked pushing her hair strands behind her ear
"Nothing is wrong" she said looking at me
"Shona tell me" I said and she put her hand on my chest since I was still laying on her lap
"I don't know, when you speak to me like that, I feel ummm" tears made their way back to her eyes
"Shona if you don't tell me, how will I know"
"I feel loved, cared for and respected. I feel like this is where I belong, with you and myra" she said
"Im glad you feel that way darling but why are you crying"
"It's something I have craved all my life and finally I am getting it. It's overwhelming" she said and I pulled her down kissing her cheek
"Nandini you will always be my first priority with myra, and I promise I will try my best to keep you happy"
"Manik thank you, I really umm I wasn't sure how this would be but today I feel like marrying you was the best decision on my life"
I smiled hearing this, becasue initially we both did this for myra but now we are with our developed relationship.
"I feel the same way nandini" she smiled
"So come shower with me now" I siad and she giggled
"Okay, lets go but only if you behave" she said shocking me
"What" I said more like screamed
"I trust you Manik, and I know you would never do anything without my permission and who cares, dude I already have seen it all" she said and I coughed hearing this
"What do you mean by seen it all, you haven't seen anything" I siad
"Maybe I have" she teased so I pulled her down closer to me
"Have you shona" I asked and she shook her head biting her bottom lips
"Don't bite your lip, only I can do that" I said running my fingers along her bottom lip releasing it from her teeth
"I really wanna kiss you right now" I said and she looked down eyeing my lips, maybe she wanted me to
"Would you let me kiss you" I asked
"I wouldn't stop you" she mummbled and I smiled hearing her
I wasn't joking when I said I wanted to kiss her but I had something else I had to do first before I can kiss her. I got up form her lap and pulled her face closer
"You are so freaking beautiful" I mummbled and kissed the corner or her lips and pulled her closer with both my hands resting behind her neck
"I need to do something okay, but trust me I umm never mind just know that you are mine as I am yours okay"
"You are mine" she asked so innocently
"All yours, head to toe, no one has claims on me other than you. Is that understood" I asked and she nodded looking down
"I need words mrs malhotra"
"I understand Manik" she spoke looking up at me
"Good girl" I said and kissed her forehead, she giggled like myra
"Go shower you stinky human being" she said leaning onto my face
"I know for a fact that I do not stink, and if you do not want a second shower little one then you should kiss my cheek right now and apologize" I said and watched as a smirk took place on her face
"I apologize my lord but you do stink" she said kissing my cheek and getting up
"Damn it" I mummbled making her laugh
"Go Manik, ill make some breakfast okay" she said and I nodded
"Make me some coffee please"
"Yes I will, wanna try iced coffee today" she asked
"Yes please" I siad and she nodded
I Kissed her cheek and walked to the bathroom to shower. When I came out I found my clothes on the bed making me smile. I grabbed the sweats and boxers but left eh t shirt since it was just her and I at home, id put one on when myra comes back home.
