No one's pov (it'll be like this from now on, unless it says otherwise, the pics confuse me)"Race you!" Nancy mimicked Robin's words, from just a few minutes ago.
It was 8pm on an October night, so the air was chilly. The girls could see their breath, as they clumsily ran through the store doors laughing. Their hands clasped together, as they searched the selfs.Steve saw them come into the store but was too tired to say anything, he just watch the two girls with an amused smile. Robin left work early that day, because she said she had homework. But he was sure she just wanted to be around Nancy.
"Oh! This one, this one, Nancy it's so good!" Robin pleaded, as she was jumping up and down on the spot, full of energy, earning a laugh from Nancy.
"The shining? Really. That's so basic." Nancy said while rolling her eyes.
"Come on Nance, you know it's good. sure, maybe it's a bit basic, but it's still good." Robin replied looking down at Nancy."I promise I'll protect you Nancy wheeler" Robin spoke almost teasingly, while a smirk played on her lips.
"Oh shut up Buckley, fine we can get it" Nancy replied blankly. Trying to cover up the smile forming on her lips, by turning around to walk to the front desk.
Robin started jumping up and down flapping her hands, while a wide grin took over her lips. "Yes yes yes yes!" Robin yell-whispered. Overly happy with the events that had played out that night already.
After a couple seconds she calmed herself back down, and walked over to the front desk as well. Luckily for them there was no one else in the store, Besides the girls and Steve.
"Yeah I've been fine, just work robin ditched me to hang out with you-... oh, Hey dumbass, how was your homework." Steve said playfully, as robin leaned on the front desk.
Steve smirked as he said the last word.
"Shut up Dingus, I'll make it up to you, okay?""Sure rob, whatever you say. Nancy seems like a good influence anyways" Steve replied, as he handed the girls their movie. Robin almost climbed over the countertop to attack him, if it wasn't for Nancy, who held her back.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding Robin!" Steve said, as he threw his arms up in surender.
"Whatever.... Steve wanna hang out with me and Nance tomorrow? We can invite the kids."
"The kids?" Nancy questioned.
"Oh yeah you wouldn't know them, umm, Steve hangs out with 15 year olds for fun. To be fair they are pretty cool" Robin answered as she looked at Nancy with a smile."Oh that's my brother's age, maybe he can meet some friends! Wanna come to my- well, mine and Robin's house?"
"Sure Nancy, sounds good!" Steve replied. Smiling at the two....Time skip...
"Ah Robin!" Nancy yell-whispered, leaning against Robin for support. She sat criss cross on the couch, while Nancy was sitting beside her.
Nancy buried her face into Robin's neck, as the blonde placed a soft kiss on top of Nancy's head. "Shh, Nancy it's okay, I'll protect you. See?" Robin said as she picked Nancy up and placed her in her lap, hugging Nancy tightly."Rob?" Nancy spoke, still clinging to Robin.
The taller girl only let out a small hum, as her eyes were focused on the movie.
