It all started when decided to go to the old family cabin she couldn't help but think about all the mystery that surrounded  the cabin. finally after 10 hours of none stop fields and trees. She made it to the cabin. Looking around she spotted a small pond right off the path. Looking up, Alya saw that the sun was still high in the sky. She figured it must be around 3 o'clock. She got out of the car and made her way to the pond. It was still partially frozen. She gripped her jacket wishing that she was back home. In the small town of Joppa, Alabama. After her father was killed on his hunting trip. She read about the Forest and stories of an evil being called Werewolves.

She thought it was all nonsense, but the longer she stayed here. The colder she felt inside. Thinking back to the creature She saw when she was younger. She heard a branch snap behind her and turned quickly with her knife drawn. Nothing there, just the trees and darkness.

A gust of wind sent a shiver down her spine, making her regret not having a firearm. She practically ran back to the cabin. It was only when she got there that she realized how stupid her decision had been. She should have known better than to go out in the woods alone, especially when night was coming fast.

She tried the door, but it was jammed. There was no way of getting in without making a lot of noise. And if there was someone or something out there, they would surely hear her.

She started to back away from the cabin when she heard a branch snap behind her. She spun around and saw a figure standing in the shadows, watching her intently. She took a step back, her heart racing. The figure stepped into the light and she saw that it was a man. He was tall and muscular with dark hair and piercing Blue eyes.

"Who are you?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

"My name is Corri," he said softly. "I'm sorry if I scared you, but I didn't mean to." She looked at him is disbelief. Wondering how in the world could someone be out here in the middle of nowhere at this time.It was well after midnight and pitch black outside. There wasn't a single light for miles, except for the moon that cast an eerie glow over everything.

"What are you doing out here?" she asked him, still trying to process what was happening. "It's not safe."

"I know," he said sadly. "But I didn't have anywhere else to go."

She looked at him intently, studying his face in the darkness. She could see the pain etched there, and it broke her heart a little bit.
She didn't know what to do, but she couldn't just leave him there.

"Come with me," she said finally. "The Cabin isn't much but it's safer than being outside."

He hesitated for a moment and then nodded. She led him back to her house, trying not to think about the fact that he could be a serial killer or something. When they got there, she opened the door and let him in. He stood in the doorway awkwardly, not sure what to do next.

She stepped forward and hugged him tightly. "Thank you," he whispered into her ear. "I don't have any idea of what would have happened to me." She looked up at him. Realizing that by the way he was acting and moving he wasn't human. But he wasn't one of those creatures either.

"No, I don't," she said softly. "But I'm glad I could help."

He smiled down at her and brushed a stray lock of hair out of her face. Then he leaned in and kissed her softly on the mouth. She melted into him, kissing him back with all the pent up passion she had been feeling lately. Whether it be from the all the stress and anxiety from coming back to this place or the pent up feelings she's hap for a long time. When they finally parted she stared up into his eyes, trying to figure out what he was. But before she could say anything he spoke first.

"I can't tell you what I am," he said gently. "But know that this means more to me than anything else in the world." He brushed his thumb across her cheekbone then bent down and kissed her again. The kiss was gentle and sweet, unlike anything she had ever experienced. When he finally pulled away she stared up at him in confusion.

"Please don't be scared," he said softly. "I won't hurt you."

She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. This couldn't be happening, it was too good to be true. "What are you?" She asked again but this time there was a hint of curiosity in her voice.

He took a step closer to her and she involuntarily stepped back. "Please, don't be afraid," he repeated. "I'm just like you."

She studied him for a moment, trying to decide if she could trust him. Finally she took a step forward and he reached out to touch her cheek. Electricity raced through her body and she gasped.

"You can feel that, can't you?" He asked softly. "That's how I know you're special." She nodded, unable to speak. She was both terrified and exhilarated by the sparks that flew between them.

He took her hand and led her outside deeper into the woods. She could hear the thunder of her heart in her ears. Was she really going to do this? Was she really going to let him lead her into the woods where anything could happen?

Yes, she thought desperately. I need this. I need him."
