*1st place*
Book: Miss Mangaka
Author: Madame_LaBelle
Book cover and Title: 10/10
I love the cover so much. It definitely gives off just the right vibes. I just had to judge this book before the others. I find the title memorable and well suited. Great job!
Blurb: 10/10
It's intriguing and mentions everything it needs to. It's the perfect length as well.
Plot development: 15/15
I like how you gave away backstory without info-dumping. The twist with Shono Samurai was executed perfectly! I honestly did not see that coming. You had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Great job!
Character development: 8/10
I love how all the relationships between the characters developed. It didn't feel at all forced. The character development really showed through Kenji! However, I did think Sera didn't have enough development. I feel like she's the exact same person she was at the beginning of the story, if you know what I mean.
Grammar and Punctuation: 5/5
There's nothing that I noticed. Great job!
Overall Enjoyment: 20/20
On my way to recommend this book to everyone I know. In all seriousness, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters, the plot, the humour. All of it exceeded my expectations! I really want more!
Total Score: 68/70
*2nd place*
Book: From the dark side: Stories as told by disney villains.Author: Han_Banana21
1.Book cover and title- 10
2.Blurb- 9
3.Plot development- 13
4.Character development- 8
5.Grammar and punctuation- 4
6.Overall enjoyment- 20
Total score- 64/70
The title itself is quite unconventional as it brings forward the after stories of the villains from their perspective. The plot isn't predictable and the readers can have their own made up villain plots and their own related musings. Grammar and punctuation is appropriate. Overall the book is one of a kind.
Congratulations to the winners!!
