The next day
[Eric had introduced the girl as Vanessa and as the girl who he was going to marry that same afternoon. When Ariel heard this, it completely broke her heart and destroyed her soul. Carlotta literally ended up feeding her because Ariel wouldn't eat or drink. Ariel did the normal routine she had been doing but without feeling or emotion. Hours passed and Ariel stayed in her bedroom crying her eyes out, she had dinner inside her room instead of going down to the dining room, she did the same routine after dinner, and then went outside to see the wedding ship leave]
{Outside}

{With Ariel}
[Scuttle told Ariel what he had seen and she believed him immediately. Sebastian was a bit doubtful, but in the end, Flounder and Sebastian believed Scuttle. Ariel remembered Ursula's words, she jumped into the ocean, and Sebastian cut a rope full of barrels so that Ariel could float. Flounder got into the loop of the rope, he started to swim while Sebastian told Scuttle to find a way to stall the wedding, and then Sebastian went into the ocean to get help from King Triton]
{In the ocean with Sebastian in Atlantica}
Sebastian: Your majesty!!
King Triton: Sebastian! Thank heavens, where in the oceans have you and Ariel been? We've all been out looking for you both
Sebastian: It's a long story, your highness, I'll divulge it to you later, but right now, Ariel needs help. It's Ursula
King Triton: Ursula?!
Sebastian: Yes
King Triton: Let's go, guards, make sure the rest of my daughters do not leave the palace. It's not safe right now
Guards: Yes, sir!
(King Triton and Sebastian leave the palace)
{Back on the wedding ship}

(Ursula jumped into the water with Ariel then Eric leaned over the side)
Eric: Ariel!
(He got into a rowboat and brought it down)
{In the ocean}

(Ariel swam up to King Triton)
Ariel: Daddy
King Triton: Ariel
(They both smiled and embraced then pulled away)
Ariel: Daddy, I am so sorry, I was stupid and naive to believe that Ursula would keep the end of her bargain
King Triton: Ariel, it's ok, you don't have anything to apologize for. If anything it is I who has to apologize, in a way, I led you to her. If I would have been more open-minded and if I would have listened to you more then all this could have been avoided. Let's just put everything behind us
Ariel: I'd like that
(She gasped)
Ariel: Eric, I need to make sure he got to the shore safely
(Ariel swam away)
King Triton: Wait, Ariel, Flounder, go to the palace and tell my daughters that everything is fine and I'll be back shortly
Flounder: Yes, King Triton
(King Triton and Sebastian followed her while Flounder went to the palace)
{In the palace}
(The guards let him in since they knew that he was one of Ariel's best friends)
Attina: Flounder, where's Ariel? Is she ok?
Alana: What about our father?
Adella: And Sebastian, is he ok too?
Aquata: And what was that horrible storm? It didn't reach us, but we definitely felt it
Arista: We wanted to go but our father forbade it, we couldn't even sneak out from anywhere
Andrina: Yeah, there are way too many guards guarding every exit and every cranny of the palace. What's going on?
Flounder: Everyone's alright, King Triton told me to come here and tell you all that everything's fine. He'll be back in a little bit
Attina: Alright, girls, let's just be patient
Alana: Easier said than done
(They all sit down on their beds)
{On the shore}
[It was a brand new day and Ariel was sitting on a rock and she watched how Eric turned from his side to his back. King Triton and Sebastian were watching her]
King Triton: She truly loves him, doesn't she, Sebastian?
Sebastian: Yes, she does, your majesty
King Triton: That human saved my daughter, my kingdom, and me
Sebastian: Yes he did, your highness, he's a good man with a kind heart
King Triton: Well then, there's only one more thing to resolve
Sebastian: What is that, your highness?
King Triton: The fact that I'm going to miss her very much
[He pointed his trident at the ocean and a magical wave went to Ariel. She felt something and looked down to see her tail transforming into legs. She looked up at her father overjoyed and he smiled back at her. Ariel went into the sea, and a few seconds later, she slowly emerged from it, Eric slowly sat up, and then stood up
