Log Date #1: Leeseo
"what do you have there Hyun?" Yujin unnie peeked in the frame "I found a go pro! It's still working and has lots of space left in the memory" I smiled "that's cute. Can you help unnie gather some crops outside?" Yujin unnie asked "yes unnie!" I stood up and followed her leader.
The morning sun greets her as the rays shined upon the corn field. The dome acted as our own ozone layer, nothing scientific can explain on how a glass dome with us inside not being burned to death
Yujin and I headed straight to Mashiro and Shuhua, who were tending at their hand made crop field near the lake. "Ahh Yujin-ah you're here, Yena was looking for you near the laboratory with Tzuyu and Hyewon" Shuhua said "Oh okay unnie. Hyun, you stay here and help the unnies, arrasseo?" Yujin smiled at me. I nodded in response and headed to where the unnies are
"what can I help with?" I asked. Mashiro unnie stood up straight "I actually need you to help Yeseo carry some water up to here so we can freshen up the crops" she said. Carrying things, sure I can do that! I run straight to where Yeseo unnie and Sullyoon unnie was and helped them carry out buckets of water back tot he field
It's honestly like that for a few hours but something kept bothering me. The creature last night, It's stuck in my head. I need to know what it is and as I look at the others unnies watching the field and the big dome infront of us, they're all thinking the same thing
It's around 3 Pm in the afternoon now. Atleast that's what Kyujin unnie told me. We were just doing our own things in our dorm when I saw Azzo barking outside the entrance of our dorm "azzo-yah what are you doing there, what's wrong?" I asked as I approached the dog. It just kept barking and barking, he's looking healthy now atleast. I grabbed a stool and used it as my ladder to peek at the tiny window at the top. why am I too short for this
Huffing, I jumped down and headed to the shed "Leeseo-yah what are you doing with that ladder?" Choerry unnie saw me carrying the ladder to the entrance "oh! Azzo kept barking at the entrance so I wanted to peek what's inside" I answered and she just nodded. I continue to head to the door and carefully climbs the ladder. There was nothing in particular, It was just a pathway heading to the big dome we were at yesterday, I still can't believe they wouldn't let us go in. It's a whole civilization there. But if Irene sunbae told us not to trust them, then I won't
I carefully climbed down and picked Azzo in my arms "there's nothing there ZZong" I said while stroking his fur. Azzo just whimpered and wagged his tail. Something was bothering him. This presence is bothering all of us, we need to find it
I headed back to the pation where the unnies are cooking our food for tonight's dinner. Mina sunbae and Seulgi sunbae at the cauldron filter up our water supply. I'm now curious, is this how our life would be now? I don't like it. I don't feel safe
as I'm writing this, we have already started eating dinner at dusk. The fiesta at the neighboring dome continued to the point they set out some fireworks out the sky. I was in awe, it's been awhile since I saw a firework especially up this close. We were enjoying the show when a large mutant attacked the large dome
It was like a scorpion, the height of the dome itself but it's face was human like and it has ears at the side of it's face. It was horrifying. as the fireworks continued to get launch. The monster roared loudly that our ear drums almost exploded. We continued to watch in horror as the mother alien use it's claws and tail to get inside the dome. We can already head the sounds of panic and screams coming from the bigger dome. The side of the dome's entrance opened as the civilians ran out for their lives. The same creatures we saw last night then started appearing out and slicing the people in half, all Men, Women and child got slaughtered within a blink of an eye. Some even managed to reach ours and bang on our glass, demanding for us to open up the door and let them in
"don't open it" Jennie sunbae said when Hikaru unnie was starting to head to the main door. The surviving civilians continued to bang at us and cursing us to let them in, some even started to beg. That's when it hit us. the mother alien. We looked up to see it successfully breaking the main dome and eating the people it's weird mouth tentacles captured. It doesn't just eat human but animals too. Watching a poodle get eaten alive and shredded to death right infront of me will scar me for life
The whole massacre continued as more and more people surrounded our dome and banging on it. We slowly backed up to the cottage in fear as they started to get slaughtered once again. Some has guns and knifes to defend themselves but nothing was working. And that's when we saw it. The mother alien's attention was now at our dome. Now we see it's scarring features clearly. A creepy humanoid pairs of 8 eyes, the grin of a human with teeth sharp as razors, remains of the people and animal's it ate stuck in between. It's grin only grew wider and wider when it saw a bunch of civilians gathered at our dome. It was coming our way
It was coming our way! if it's strength was strong enough to destroy a dome, we'd all be dead "SHIT! GET INSIDE NOW!" Chaeyeon unnie commanded and we did. I managed to get a grip on Gaeul unnie's hand as we followed Yujin unnie and Yena unnie to the laboratory
"what are we doing here!" Gaeul unnie exclaimed in a frantic "It's a lab! there must be something here that can help us defeat that.. thing! and let us live!" Yena unnie answered. We started to search through the main floor. We scattered through every cabinets and pressed every buttons that could possibly help us
and something did. Hyewon unnie arrived and helped us look for something as we saw a red button hidden under the desk. How stupid of us not to notice that. Soon enough the ground begun to shake as our dome was slowly being covered by some metal
We watched as the mother alien start to feast on the humans infront of us and with a single hit of our exposed glass, it cracked. Just in time for the metal to cover it up. nothing but darkness surrounds us as the banging on the metal continued. I hugged Gaeul unnie tightly
soon enough, the laboratory started to gain electricity. We turned to Hyewon unnie who managed to find the main breaker and the generator. We went outside only to see blood covering the bottom of our dome and the large crack ontop. Sighing in relief, we sat down in the living room, too stunned at today's event that has occured
"we need to get out of here" Ryujin unnie spoke. We all hummed in response "There is a way.. but I don't know if it's safe" Giselle unnie answered. We turned to her in confusion as she started to head to the laboratory and breaking the lock at the basement door, We started to head down and inside was another laboratory but not something that's used to study germs and bacterias. It was a laboratory with a portal and a table that's 3D hologram powered.
We looked around the laboratory to see who owns it as the same initials as the journals were seen at the main desk S.Chou "whoever S.Chou is. I hope they have the answer to our problem" Heejin said "look" Soojin unnie suddenly spoke as she pointed at the main desk "it's like 3 books marge into one. maybe the journals has answers" she added. Nako unnie, Rose unnie and I flipped through the paged and one thing surely stood out. We merged it together and puts them at the desk where it was supposed to be
Soon the journals started to glow yellow as the initials and symbols regains power and transferring them to the portal infront of us
"Well... this is our answer.." Yeri sunbae started. We all looked at each other before looking at the portal infront of us. a series of our past life events flashed through our faces and we hear some of our familiar voices. The portal then flashed a bright light and cleared up. it was the imagery of a spacestation, floating through the galaxy. we were hesitant to do something but the banging from outside only grew louder
"well ladies... It's time to go.." Lisa said and held Mina's hand. We all nodded as I went to the door and slowly closed it. The metal was already broken as the mother alien's eye peeked and made eye contact with me. shivers went down my spine as I hurriedly closed the door and locked it. Running back to Rei unnie and holding her hand, we turned to the portal once again
Hyewon unnie inhaled deeply "We're about to go into the unknown..."
