I missed you

Diana and Louis <3

He walked off the footie field and started down towards the field house. He turned back to look at the bleachers and motioned for her to follow. 

She quickly put her art supplies in her bag and tossed it over her shoulder before jogging down the steps. 

When Diana got close enough, he opened his arms and she ran and jumped into his chest

He hugged her and spun them

"It's been forever!" she sighed as he set her down gently

She didn't back away when he set her down, she just looked up at him and he looked down at her

"How was the trip, D?" he asked

"Amazing.. it was great to return to our hometown.. but I missed you"

He smiled and leaned down slowly

She shut her eyes and stood on her tiptoes, closing the gap between the two of them as their lips pressed together.

After a couple seconds, he pulled away and her eyes slowly fluttered open

She had felt those same, perfect butterflies in her stomach during the kiss and she loved them so much

"I missed you" he whispered

"I missed you too" 

After he changed, they set off towards his car, hand in hand. 

He popped the trunk and tossed her bag in it, then he opened her door for her and waited until she was in and buckled to shut it. When he got in and started the car, she immediately shut her vents. 

"You're always so cold" Louis chuckled at her

Diana rolled her eyes playfully and they laced their fingers together as he drove out of the school parking lot.

"Where are we going?" she asked as they drove down main street.

"For ice cream. Then, if you want, my house?" 

"Sounds perfect" she giggled and reached forward, turning on the radio with her free hand

When they got to the ice cream parlor, they ran in, chasing each other and laughing obnoxiously, then finally calmed down when they were ordering..

"There's your change.. and you two are a super cute couple" the cashier said as she handed them the change and receipt

"Aw thank you! keep the change" Louis told her

"Thanks!" Diana added as she took Louis' hand and lead him to a table

They sat across from each other. And when their icecream came out, they fed each other and messed around, just having fun and enjoying each other's company. 

"Louis? Lad, you're never in this side of town! What's good?" their conversation was interrupted by a boy with curly, brown hair and a slim but muscular figure

"Harold!" Louis stood quickly and bro hugged the boy, "We were just grabbing some dessert"

"Oh.. sorry to interrupt..?" he stopped, realizing he didn't know the girl's name..
