You walk down to see the boys cleaning to pool so you walk out " ok lay lay, want to help me and Steven with the fire works " jere asks as you walk out " no I think I'll stay here " You smile at him as they run down to beach then you help conrad with the last things then his dad comes out and he goes to talk to him
You weren't listening in till you hear his dad say " why did you let belly get so drunk" He asks conrad " I didn't know she drank so much " conrad says after " you're the oldest, what if her or your mom got hurt " He says and you can tell conrad was mad " I thought I could talk to you " conrad says before walking away but his dad trys to stop him " wait conny, sorry I just got a lot of stuff on me mind " He starts but con walk away, you drop to bag and run after him past his dad
" conrad" you say walking up to his room, you walk in and see him playing his guitar, you smile as you sit on the bed listening to him. He stops and you walk over " You ok " You ask, he nods " yeah, just he always blames it on me " You kiss him and whisper " I know " because he had talked about his dad before
You and Conrad where on the dock looking at the fire works " they're beautiful" you smile " hey Lee can I tell you something " He asks and you nod " I've been teaching someone how to sail, one of laurels book friends " you smile at him " really " He nods You both were silent for a few minutes

You put on a bikini and hoodie because you were going to go on the beach after conrad left
You go downstairs and to the kitchen and made ice coffee and took a muffin then walked outside to see Laural and Susannah " hey I'm going to go down on the beach" You say smiling and put your hand up so the sun wasn't in your eyes " ok, that's fine " Susannah says after and you smile at her

The movie was over so you and Conrad walked to the stairs the you see his mom " you ok " You ask smiling at her and she nods " let's get you upstairs " Conrad helps her up
