The opening of surah Maryam talks about Hazrat Zakariya A.S.
Hazrat Zakariya has reached old age. He wishes to have an heir. So that he would spread Islam after him. He asks Allah Subhan au Wa Tala
(19:4)He said, “My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy."
(19:5) I fear evil from my kinsmen after I am gone;[3] and my wife is barren, so grant me an heir out of Your special grace,
Allah grant Zakkariya A.S wish and bless him with yahya A.S
(19:7)Allah said) “O Zakariya (Zachariah)! Verily, We give you the glad tidings of a son, His name will be Yahya (John). We have given that name to none before (him).”
What does this teaches us?
-Make dua
-Allah can make possible everything
-Allah has the power to bless
-All what we ask is easy for Allah
