My Heart Drums To U

I'm Y/n and i've started a band {Universal Love} with two other; Maya playing the Guitar and Miguel playing the piano, but we need one more member to play the drums and therefore we are holding auditions to find find a drummer, cause without one it's not a band.

Me, Maya and Miguel sit behind a desk in an auditorium in our city. 'Next!' i say as the person was drumming very bad. We sat here already 3 hours to find a talented person that is handy with the drums. We only have 2 candidates left that want to audition. A ginger haired girl entered the stage and goes sitting by the piano, she starts playing and it amazed me how good she played. As she ended her audition i asked her a question. 'Hi, what's your name?' 'My name is Gina.' 'Welcome Gina in the band.' I say after I looked at Maya and Miguel.

'I'm sorry but I'm not auditioning, I'm already in a band. I just wanted to see how you three will make a fool of yourself and finding no better drummer then me.' She laughs and leaves. 'What the duck, that witch.' Maya says and I lean into the chair. 'I give up guys, it's no use to find a drummer that is good like that.' 'Come on Y/n there's one candidate over and maybe that person is even better than that Gina girl.' Miguel supports me and I sit again straight. 'You're right, Miguel.' I say and look at the stage, without noticing I started staring at the person and he looks at us discussing. 'Hello, what's your name?' 'My name is Jeon Jungkook, I came to audition for a band.' I sit quietly staring and Maya says to Jungkook: 'Well start when you're ready Jungkook, the drum is yours.'

He walks behind the drum and holds the sticks in his hands. I'm mesmerized at his appearance, but when he played the drum I couldn't believe that such a handsome guy could play so ..... ✨Perfect✨.

As he ends, we three started clapping after we stand up from our chairs. 'That's what I call drumming.' Miguel says and Jungkook bows. 'Thank you. Am I selected?' as that question pops up Maya and Miguel look at me. 'Ofcourse you're selected, that's something I've never see in the drum history. Welcome in the team.' 'Thank you.' he says and we sit back down. 'We will connect you further for any practices or any performance we'll be doing the next months or years'

Years went by and the team got very close with Jungkook in it, but he was getting much closing with Y/n as they practice private as the singing and drums need to be synchronous. There's a very important performance for the band in 2 days, so they practice more to let it be perfect.

'Anyone free to go to Pizzeria Kim to have a break and enjoying ourselves?' 'Sorry Y/n, me and Miguel are already having a date.' 'Oh that's okay, Maya. Jungkook you wanna come with me?' he looks at me and nods. 'Sure, I love Pizza ..... and from you.' he said the last part very quiet so no one heard.

***Writer Pov***

Hours later they sit in the Pizzaria Kim and order a big pizza to share or as the name said it "An Couple Pizza". They both wait and talk to each other. 'So how's your family, are they doing great?' 'Yes, very great. They have paid some tickets to be join the performance and cheer for us, hopefully we'll win that competition.' 'That's great and we'll win for certain, the performances in those restaurants and festivals weren't for nothing.' Y/n says as she giggles very cutely in Jungkook thoughts.

When the pizza has arrived, they eat the pizza full joy and have interesting/funny conversation like memories they have with each other. 'hahaha, those were great times.' Y/n says and drinks from her soda. Jungkook drinks of his soda and looks at Y/n's hand, how he wants to hold her soft hand into his is a dream that will come true.

'Y/n, have you ever felt something special in a person that you want to have in your whole life?' Jungkook asks and Y/n nods. 'I have and I also lost one as you know that my father isn't my real father.' as Y/n tells him her answer, she started having tears appearing in her eyes. Jungkook said nothing but stands up to sit next to her and holds her tight. 'I'm sorry to show my sadness. I'm a mess when it comes to being a crybaby.' 'It's alright, I love crybabies.' Jungkook says and suddenly acts like I'm a baby. 'coochi coo. You want a ice cream, cute lil baby?' Y/n laughs and Jungkook wipes her tears, 'Thank you Kookie. you always know how to make me laugh.' 'Well i think we'll need to get going, cause the day after tomorrow is going to be busy.'

**Day of the competition**

We are all dressed in blue-black and ready to perform as we wait in the artist room for the host to announce us. After some performances, it's our turn to perform and go to backstage. 'Are you guys ready?' I say and we put each others hands together and throw them in the air. Maya and Miguel kiss each other and we go on stage while the audience clap and cheer for us. 'Hello everyone, we'll be playing 'Secret Love' to all lovers who have a crush for each other. Jungkook starts the counting with the drumsticks, the guitars then starts and Miguel fills the song in while i sing into the mic on a stand while I sit on a chair. When the song is done , I stand up and we all bow as we hold hands {order left to right: Miguel, Maya, Y/n, Jungkook}. After the bow Jungkook turns to me and kisses me like a bride. My brain was a mess with as reaction i kissed him back while everyone gasps and cheered for us.

After the kiss we both look at each other, the other two smiled as the host came and we needed to go backstage, 'What a performance right people!' the host says and tells them to vote on their favorite band.

**Backstage**

'Y/n, I've wanted to ask you something for a long time?' 'Yes?' I say and he kissed me again. 'Do you wanna go out with me?' 'Let me think mmm... Ofcourse I wanna go out with you, Kookie!' I hug him and kisses him again. 'You two are very cute together.' Maya says. We all crossing our fingers to hope that we win this competition to start a record recording with a famous label with a lot of famous stars.

'Well as y'all know it's time to shut down the lines and to find out who won this Competition of the Bands!' The Host says and then increase the excitement in the audience. 'So at this Competition of the Bands, the winner is... To win a record recording of the most famous label ever is.... *Drum roll* 🥁🥁🥁🥁

"UNIVERSAL LOVE"!!!' the host announced and we jump into the sky 'We won, omg!' We say and we walk onto the stage.

**Years later**

We tour around the world and become very famous after the show, our fans ship us together as we are still together and not to forget they all four are married: Maya with Miguel and Jungkook with Y/n.

And that people is a start of a happy life by taking chances and trusting each other and giving each other hope and support!
