The next morning Benji was awoken by Jaxson, his mom's boyfriend, banging on his room door "Benji! Open the damn door!" he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes before getting up to open it "what?" he asked "where the hell is your mother? I saw the news this morning and she's not here" he said "how the fuck am I supposed to know? I've been here all night, you saw me before I went to sleep" Benji replied before walking past him to the bathroom. He closed the door and giggled to himself knowing exactly what they did last night. He got ready for the day, did his skincare routine, showered, and changed his clothes before walking downstairs

"Benji, call the police to make a missing person report" Jaxson said "it hasn't been 48 hours" he said grabbing a bowl "I don't care. Do it" I groaned and grabbed my sister's phone out of her hand "hey!" She exclaimed as he walked outside and called the local police station

"I'd like to report a missing person" he said "name?" They asked "Sandra miller" he answered "okay we need some extra details like height, last place you say them, eye color, and hair color" they said "she's my mom, I saw her last night before I went to sleep at about 11 pm. She's 5'6, she has brown hair, her eye color is hazel, and she weighs about 180 pounds. I got a little scared because I saw what happened on the news this morning and then she's not in her room or anything." He said trying to sound as sad as he could "how old are you, honey?" they asked him "I'm 16" he answered

"Is anyone else living with you?" He paused for a moment, "All of my siblings are here. My mom's boyfriend is here as well but one of us really know him" he said looking at the door to see his sister standing there "I'm gonna call my grandma to come here and stay with us." He told the person on the other end "okay, you do that. I'm gonna send a few officers to your house so we can get statements from you, alright?" Benji hummed in response before hanging up

"Are you worried about mom?" she asked, sitting down next to him "I don't know." He handed her back the phone and went inside "the cops are coming!" Jaxson's eyes went wide "Benji! I asked you to file a missing persons report, not call them here" he shrugged "we're all minors, none of us know you and you're a convicted felon, so you can't watch over us. In addition, you're still a junkie. Why would I want you around my siblings" he took out his phone and called his grandma.

"Hi, grandma!" He said excitedly "hi, Benji. How are you?" She said "uh, well, mom went missing, and her boyfriend is here. None of us are comfortable with it and I called the cops, so can you just come here...and maybe stay here" he explained awkwardly "oh...yeah, of course, I'll be there as soon as I can" she told him "alright see you later" he hung up and heard a knock on the door

He got up to answer it and there stood 2 police officers. He let them in and the cop asked some questions and Benji rightfully answered.

Then he decided to fuck with Jaxson

"I think her boyfriend might be doing drugs. I saw him shooting up the other day, and I'm pretty sure he's upstairs hiding them." He said the cop nodded "we'll take a look" They went up the stairs while Benji sat down with his siblings "why would you say that?" Bella asked "because he is. Did you want me to lie to the police?" Benji said and she rolled her eyes "Where were you last night?" Jasper asked "I was laying in my bed thinking about my wonderful boyfriend" he rolled his eyes "of course you were"

At Felix's house, he looked outside his window and saw the cop cars outside Benji's house. He was confused. Did the cops find out? Did someone do something and he finally snapped? This would be normal if it wasn't for what happened yesterday. The cops and cps were always at his house but nothing was ever done cause there was "never" evidence of anything happening, even if he was standing outside sobbing and begging for someone to help him
