SUMMARY
Every family has a black sheep. For those who was a member of the Black family, it so happened that amongst the many blood relatives - as it was known that blood was of utmost importance to one who associated with the name - the outcasts came in pairs.
Anthea Malfoy was one. As was Nymphadora Tonks - and before that her mother, Andromeda and also Sirius Black. But whilst the latter three seemed to make their discontent and inability to fit in the rest of their family very much known, completely disowned and not related by anything but name, Anthea just... didn't.
She had been raised with the ideals, sure, but she didn't share the same fire, the same anguish, the same utter hatred of everyone not on their level, the same willpower to bring a dead man back to full power. She didn't choose to study Muggle Studies, or get sorted into any house but Slytherin, or try to voice her distaste when she watched her father use his cane to push the house-elves around.
She just didn't. But it was obvious that she wasn't similar enough to her family for them to notice.
The difference meant nothing, and her title meant everything. It didn't matter whether she was unlike the rest of her family, she was still a Malfoy. There were things expected of her, and most corners she turned she was met with a preconcieved image of her that she didn't have the influence to change.
It didn't matter how she felt. She was a Malfoy, and would carry out the tasks necessary to appease her family.

I think this is going to begin in fifth year? Just because 6th year is so busy and would be hard to fit this plot in so i think fifth year would be the best bet for me. So, just so you know, this begins in fifth year.
