LENA ROMANOFF was quite tired of sitting around and doing nothing. Living in Hawkins, Indiana, it felt like that was all she could do. While her mom was off saving the world, she was here, slinging ice cream like any other sad, broke teenager would do. It even came with a terrifying uniform to boot.
SO, when an opportunity to finally get her heart pumping arises, of course Lena jumps in headfirst. Maybe she'll even prove herself to Natasha while she's at it. It's a solid plan, she thinks. Killing two birds with one stone and all that, she's not entirely sure of the extended metaphor she wants to use here yet.
THEN OF COURSE, the one thing Lena Romanoff couldn't exactly plan for was falling in love with Steve Harrington. It threw off everything.
