*~Chapter One: Part One~*

(Chris just left and now it's just the counselors standing outside the main cabin).

Emma: "Ugh, what now?!"

Dylan: "You guys know what time it is.." Dylan looked at everyone knowingly. Kit tilted her head.

Dylan: "Well, considering that there are no kids here..." Dylan waited for someone to catch on. Jacob laughed.

Jacob: "Hell yeah, let's party!"

Kit: "Oh, okay."

Dylan: "All in favor?"

Kit: "Is it someone's birthday?"

Dylan: "I mean, other than Lady luck's?"

Emma: "Basically, they want to party since it'll be our last day together."

Jacob: "So.. Are you in, Emma? Because I am!"

Emma: "Ehhhh..." Emma was fake thinking, then she laughed.

Emma: "Yep!"

Kit: "Who is this Lady Luck? Are they a friend of yours?"

Dylan: "Um.. No- Y'know luck? Like, 'I'm very lucky'?"

Kit: "I know what luck is, but who is Lady Luck?"

Emma: "It's just another word for luck."

Kit: "Ohh... hey... umm... wait, I hope I got it right this time... Jacob, Dylan, and Emma, right? Sorry I keep forgetting your names. I have had a good time working with you all."

Dylan: "Ay, no getting sappy just yet!"

Kit: "Sappy...? I didn't touch tree sap." Kit was checking her hands to see if she touched tree sap.

Dylan: "Er-"

There was an awkward silence.

Nick: "Not that kind of sap."

Kit: "Was there a definition of sap that I've missed?"

Abi: "Really sentimental is what Dylan means." 

Amara walked up to the group.

Amara: "Hey, uh.. What's going on over here?"

She put her hands in the pockets of her black, baggy cargo pants.

Kit: "They are throwing a party for luck as a thing for the final day? I am confused. From what I recall, luck is not a person, unless there happened to be a person with that word as their name."

Jacob: "We're throwing a party since the car broke down and Mr. Hackett left to go into town.. Also because it's our last day together."

Amara: "Oh, and how are you guys planning on doing that?"

Dylan: "Well there's gotta be alcohol around here somewhere."

Abi: "Nick and I can also get stuff for a campfire!"

Jacob: "Yeah, I'll go look for drinks."

Emma: "Nonono, I am not letting you go alone."

Dylan: "Wait.. Where's emo boy?"

Ryan suddenly appeared right behind him.

Ryan: "Right here."

Dylan jumped.

Dylan: "Jesus! You scared me."

Kit stood there in thought, spacing out.
