3rd pov
Night had begun to weave its dark tapestry across the sky, the stars twinkling like distant promises. In the warm glow of the kitchen, Ching and Pucca were huddled together, sharing whispers and laughter that floated through the air like music. Meanwhile, Abyo was engaged in an amusing struggle, playfully wrestling a chicken that seemed intent on escaping its fate. In a corner, Garu and Ari were focused on dinner, the scent of simmering ingredients filling the space with a comforting aroma.
**"...Are you going to tell me the truth about this whole kiss shenanigans or...?"** Ari asked, a mischievous glint in her eye as she pinned Garu against the table counter, her determination palpable. Garu, caught off guard and clearly not in the mood for a serious conversation, sighed deeply, disbelief etched across his face. **"Why? Why are you so curious about this topic?"** he muttered, his frustration bubbling to the surface. He slapped his hand against his face, a gesture of exasperation that made Ari's heart sink slightly.
**"EXCUSE ME?"** Ari shot back, her voice rising just enough to make everyone in the room stop and look. It wasn't a full shout, but the intensity in her tone drew surprised glances from Ching, Pucca, and even Abyo, who paused in his antics with the chicken. Garu's eyes widened, a mixture of shock and annoyance flashing across his face, but he quickly regained his scowling demeanor. **"You heard what I said. Why. Are. You. Interested in this topic?"** he gritted through clenched teeth, his patience wearing thin. He turned his attention back to cooking, but the tension hung in the air like a storm cloud, thick and palpable.
Ari was taken aback; she had never seen him like this before, so stern and closed off. The weight of his mood settled heavily on her chest, making her question whether she had crossed a line. She sighed, frustration mingling with confusion, and opted to return to helping him in silence, her thoughts swirling like the steam rising from the pot.
As they continued preparing dinner, the atmosphere shifted; the light banter between Ching and Pucca faded into the background, leaving a sense of unresolved tension lingering between Garu and Ari. The clatter of pots and pans filled the space, each sound echoing the unspoken words hanging between them.
Meanwhile, Abyo, curiosity etched across his face, leaned closer to Ching and whispered, **"What was that about?"** Ching simply shrugged, her expression a mix of confusion and concern. But Pucca, observing the scene unfold, couldn't help but wonder why Ari had suddenly shouted as if she owned the place.
**"Hey, Pucca, this sleepover at Garu's house is gonna be great, right?"** Abyo asked, trying to lighten the mood. Pucca nodded in agreement, a smile creeping onto her lips, but Abyo's confusion only deepened as he watched the dynamics around him.
As time slipped by, the aroma of the delicious dinner lingered in the air, but the playful atmosphere had shifted. They had finished their meal, and the clattering of dishes echoed in the kitchen as Ching and Abyo took charge of washing up. Meanwhile, Pucca, determined to stay close to Garu, kept clinging to him, her presence a contrast to the growing tension in the room. Ari watched them from a distance, her scowl deepening as she felt a pang of jealousy. **Why was she feeling this way?** It was an unfamiliar sensation that gnawed at her, making her heart race and her cheeks flush.
**"Garu... that conversation is NOT over!"** Ari suddenly declared, her voice firm and unyielding as she grabbed Garu by the arm and dragged him outside, her determination palpable. She slammed the door shut just as Pucca was about to step out, the sound echoing like a gunshot, leaving a stunned silence in its wake.
Inside, Ching and Abyo exchanged bewildered glances, the tension now thick enough to cut with a knife. **"What just happened?"** Abyo murmured, his eyes darting toward the closed door, where they could only imagine the confrontation brewing outside.
Pucca stood frozen for a moment, her excitement over the sleepover dimmed by the sudden turn of events. **"What was that all about?"** she asked, her brow furrowed in concern. As the night stretched on, the echoes of Ari's outburst lingered in the air, intertwining with the silence that enveloped the kitchen, leaving everyone to wonder what would happen next.
Garu laughed and..
"I think your're overreacting to this Ari. First, me and Pucca are NOT dating, second, why are you even mad about her kissing me? And third, you have been here for almost week now your judging.. Spoiled brat."Ari gasped of what he said now it's her turn to say,
"Huhh, you think IM overreacting to this, clearly your dumb Garu. First, I wasnt even asking you, Secondly, YOU didnt even tell me with your clingy random girl kissing you like your a toy, AND THIRDLY, EXCUSE ME JUST BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR ALMOST A DAMN WEEK DOESNT MEAN THAT I. AM. A. FKING. SPOILED. BRAT!!" Ari gritted her teeth when she said 'brat'."Garu was taken aback—so much so that his shock quickly morphed into frustration. His calm, reserved nature snapped, and before he knew it, he was raising his voice in response to Ari's stubborn persistence.
**"What is your problem? Why can't you just drop this?"** Garu's voice was edged with irritation as he stared at her, his fists clenched at his sides.Ari, equally riled up, refused to back down. **"My problem? My problem is that you're keeping secrets from me, Garu! You owe me an explanation!"** Her voice trembled, not from fear, but from the overwhelming emotions that had been building inside her. She wasn't sure if it was anger, jealousy, or something deeper she couldn't yet define.
As the argument escalated, the door behind them creaked open, revealing Ching, Pucca, and Abyo standing there, wide-eyed. They couldn't help but listen as the tension between Garu and Ari crackled in the night air.
Ching exchanged a worried glance with Pucca, her hand resting lightly on the doorframe. Abyo, ever the curious observer, leaned forward, a mix of fascination and confusion on his face. Just then, from the shadows, Tobi—the enemy who had been lurking in the distance—watched with keen interest. His ninjas were still, waiting for his command, but Tobi's focus was entirely on Ari. He tilted his head, a smirk playing at his lips.
**"Well, well, well... I didn't know the little girl had such fire in her."** He mused to himself, clearly impressed by Ari's tenacity. This was not the timid girl they had once captured; this was someone fierce, standing toe-to-toe with Garu without flinching. As the argument continued to unfold, Garu's face twisted in frustration. **"Ari, this isn't about secrets! You're making this bigger than it is!"** His voice cracked, his patience fraying at the edges.Ari's eyes blazed with determination. **"Then tell me the truth, Garu! Why did you kiss her? Why are you pushing me away?"** Her voice rose, her fists clenched by her sides. She couldn't understand why this was happening, why Garu, of all people, was shutting her out.
The ninjas and Tobi remained in the shadows, intrigued by the raw display of emotion unfolding before them. For a moment, the tension between enemies was overshadowed by the emotional battle happening between Garu and Ari.
Silence fell for a heartbeat, the wind carrying away their words into the night.
What will happen to them? Will the plan go like they expected?
